If Mendy was 100% fit tomorrow i wouldnt drop Zinchenko , he has been brilliant and certainly surprised me , he has the occasional lapse but no more the Mendy , its amazing how Pep improves players , his individual work with players really cannot be underestimated , he just makes players better.

Yep, needs to tutor Walker and Gundogan !!No lapses in concentration today is exactly what I wanted to see. The rest of his game is already there he just needs to stay switched on for the full game. Hope he keeps it up.

For the sake of accuracy: he didn't. Kimmich was moved to RB position after Pep has left and Lahm has retired.Pep turned Joshua Kimmich into a good full back, looks like he’s doing the same with Zinny.

Man of the match for me today. He has played so well recently and I bet Wolves are mad that they couldn’t pick him up for 16million. I think he’s worth 3 times that in today’s market. Very pleased for him as he seems a great team and level headed for one so young

Ahh, fair enough. Both similar situations though, young talented players who both have willingness to learn from Pep. Pretty sure Kimmich played at right back a few times while Lahm played DM, but I maybe mistaken.

And even now with Zinny flourishing you find people saying he's still not good enough, baffling stuff.

True. Not sure many saw Zins potential at LB though.
