He is I’m sure. Presumably the logic is that fern breaks things up and gets a foot in Better than rodri. During that period in the first half when they were on top, most of it came from this area and rodri lost it there a couple of times, maybe through nerves.

Our squad is that good its so hard to choose.ive been trying to think of a good line up to involve either kun or jesus by leaving mahrez out.But then i thought mahrez creates someting out of nothing so that was out.lets see what pep does its a very tough call in any case.

Why especially Mahrez ? Is it because he is fasting and you are worried about his fitness ?

Yeah, I like rodri. It never occurred to me that Pep would make this change until he subbed him yesterday. But it does make sense I think.

With Pep only giving Fern 60 min & Rodri a full game against Palace I would think Pep is thinking Fern to start

No its because pep likes to control midfield and im sure foden, kdb, gundog ,will all play so mahrez is odd man out.
