"Dont go on the pitch because you might mess it up"

Christ on a Bike.....

i think the person worried about "messing it up" has a valid point, you see up here in manchester the weather is a lot wetter than other parts of the country, check our rainfall for say where you might live, its terrible for all things grass. our groundstaff are overworked in keeping it like it is. its a credit to them, so we dont want people on it, bike or no bike.

Please can you email Bruce Sprinsteen and tell him to 'mind the grass' when he plays there on June 22nd to 30'000 people

P.s - Don't call him 'The Boss' when you mail him. He hates informality when he is being reprimanded, Please also included the reasons why Manchester's longitude and latitude affects premier levels of grass growth - He will be a lot more cooperative when you back it up with science

the grass will benefit from any manure thrown on it.
now if it was madonna!

As the title hasn’t been decided will there even be a trophy to lift? It’s not like we will have the trophy at the stadium waiting is it??

They are having two trophies; one in Sunderland and one at our ground and the FA and Barclays Premier League have planned two presentation ceremonies so YES, you will see a trophy presented IF we win.

Apologies for shouting but...

STAY OFF THE PITCH IF WE WIN ON SUNDAY!!!

A pitch invasion would show us up for having a small club mentality, it would be completely against the dignity and professionalism shown by the club and the players as they hunt down the trophy and it would likely stop the presentation and end of season farewell from happening... as well as leading to many people being banned from the stadium for a number of years.

Do you wear glasses and short pants?

Has anyone's fans ever invaded the pitch after winning the premier league?

-- Wed May 09, 2012 9:49 am --

And even if there was only one, which their isn't it would still be at our place as we're the most likely winners

I will try, but threads like this are gonna make it impossible.

IF YOU WANNA GO ON THE PITCH STOP MAKING THREADS ABOUT IT :)

WHY INVADE THE PITCH ????
If we do it,we all want to share it,we all want to see Roberto and the team on the pitch, doing a lap of honour,we want the world to see them too,not submerged in a sea of blue and white !!
THINK OF OTHERS FOR A CHANGE

why the fuck shouldnt we ;)

don't do it, it will ruin the players celebrations.

hundreds of people will go and try take their shirts/hug/shake hands with the players while they are exhausted, most of the players will probably run to the dressing room.

No... have you got a mental age of 3 and drag your knuckles on the floor when you walk?

shouldn't even be being discussed. keep the fuck off the pitch so everyone in the ground can enjoy the celebrations. people running on the pitch if we win are essentially giving a big fuck off to fans on levels 2 and 3.
not to mention the fact that if people run on the pitch the trophy presentation won't happen. wait over 40 years to win the thing but we never get to see it. that would be typical city.
