PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I have studied the evidence presented on here for years now and believe we may have cause for concern in a couple of areas.

Can you elaborate on that please? I'd just be interested to hear what you think we have cause for concern on and why, based on the evidence you've read on here.

I think it's good for any KFA such as myself to get viewpoints from all angles. Most on here (including me) will point to or believe in our innocence, most other fans point to our guilt, but it's always interesting to hear from the other clubs fans who think we're innocent and blues who think the opposite - those who go against the grain.

Disgusting really when we haven't been thru due process and anyone with any knowledge and ability to analyse that knowledge would know that the charges are ill-founded. The comfort is that it's not stopping us and all we see is more and more desperation from our rivals. The mis-information and erroneous comments used to annoy and hurt me - but now I've seen enough from the club and the whole City family to know that we will prevail.

The impact on transfers is hard to measure but has to be a factor particularly if we are in a race to sign a player.
I have studied the evidence presented on here for years now and believe we may have cause for concern in a couple of areas.
The point I was trying to make is that we need to find out if we are facing any severe punishment as soon as possible.
We willed be deemed guilty in the public eye regardless of the findings.
My understanding is that we cannot appeal the decision but we can appeal the punishment should we consider it too severe

How can an organisation that employs top accounting firms and some of the best legal minds in the country/world, headed up by a Royal entity be in such a predicament?
The media have whipped up a frenzy of accusations (with little foundation in reality imo), this is the reason why.
When this is all over, (hopefully very quickly), I think that City will be exonerated.
The agitators should then be obliged to make grovelling apologies, splashed all over the front and back pages of their abhorrent publications, all commencing on the same day AND continuing for 30 days afterwards.
Damage them the way they have tried to damage us!
All I want to see is fairness and justice and then get back to playing football.

It's had zero impact on transfers , I originally thought it did have an impact on sponsorship but I am pleased to say it clearly is not an issue with the deals we have signed in the last 6 months.

The PL was pressured by the red shirts to press these charges to further damage our "brand", and it has failed at every level and I would say it's had the opposite effect.

The charges galvanised every single person associated with the club from top to bottom, resulting in a historic treble.

Even the media campaign in the UK is failing and people outside the club are seeing through that, the campaign against us has been a disaster for the red shirts but that should be of no surprise when you see the state of those said clubs.

Ridiculous to say we need to find out what the punishment is now. It will follow the full process and it will take years. IF we are found guilty then let’s see then - but nobody at City is concerned at the moment.

And any ideas that it’s stopping players signing is garbage. We’ve lost out on plenty of players in recent seasons - mainly due to financial or geographical reasons so there is no need for arses flapping.

I believe that it is in everyone's best interests to get this thing sorted as soon as possible I am not looking for a quick fix this has gone on for years. You seem to think everything is OK because the process is inching forward and management is as you put it is unconcerned..
If you think that this is not interfering with future plans all well and good but I can't see how it is in any way a positive.
Likewise I don't think it is stopping players signing but it may be used as an argument by rivals. This was probably one of a number of factors which was at play in the Bellingham case. It is a well established fact that some players will only sign if CL football is on offer.
A large points deduction or even relegation could put us out of Europe for a year or two. That Mr. prophet of doom is not garbage.

How do you know it has not or will not in the future impact transfers? The charges were made in February.Yes your right they most certainly lit a fuse which was great but they still pose a danger.Now hopefully they will come to nought. But in theory we are looking at very serious penalties including large point deductions and possibly relegation. Now I hope that won't happen but if it does it will for a season or two impact upon our transfer strategy.

It'll be interesting to see what comes of it all. However, just because we employ a top accountancy firm doesn't mean the books are fine. All those huge firms in the US who failed had some of the big 4 accountancy firms looking after their books. The accountancy firms are as bent as some of the firms they represent.

Anyway, the sooner it gets done the better. It appears to have lost traction with the media (I think) as they're bored as well.
