PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

There's a starred club,
At the Etihad
They've told us that we're tainted
And it's really blown our minds

There's a starred club
At the top of the league
They've told us that we've no fans,
But we're not really here

They told me,
Let them lose their status
Let them lose their titles
But we'll still boogie

Na, na, na, na, na

I would love it if we could somehow get those 3 who turned down the CEO position on a witness stand to hear why they turned down the position.

"So, prior to deciding to turn down the role, you held secret talks with Liverpool and Trafford united. What was discussed and why did you decline the position?"

Makes you wonder ......

Got to think it would be something to do with the decision making processes and the influence exerted by certain clubs/people. Richard Masters is effectively a patsy. On any level football needs an independent regulator and the more you look at it the present regime is nothing but a self serving corrupt cartel.

How will it play out?

Statement from the PL saying we’ve engaged in a thorough process, matters are resolved and the PL sees no point in continuing the process. The PL won’t let the process conclude because they’d sooner fudge it and let some of the dirt stick than us be completely exonerated at a formal panel.

Need to put someone right about the reduced fine we received at CAS. I know it was for non cooperation but why did we not cooperate. Were we right not to?

I'd like to withdraw my previous praise ;)

Nena one gets my vote

Yes . We have a business model the envy of world football, why disclose it to our rivals ???? ;-)

Info that MCFC was giving regarding the investigation was leaked to the press. The leaks coincidentally stopped when former LFC chairman Rick Parry left UEFA to take up his post with the EFL allegedly. Happy to be corrected on this but that’s how I remember it.

Reckon we can get the 115 charges going to 10 green bottles. It'll take half the match to sing but it'd be funny

"And if one of those charges should find itself wiped off they'll be 114 charges standing there to fall"
115 charges, arraigned against the Blues
By the red-shirt cartel, each time the bastards lose,
But if one of those charges, is shoved up Masters' arse,
There'd be 114 charges, what a fuckin farce..!

This case is a load of crap, the end.

I've never felt more like singing the blues, City win, The premier league lose, Oh City, You've got me singing the blues...

Enjoy their pain. We ain’t going anywhere. If and it looks like a big fucking if the league had anything on city we would have made a deal. They have no evidence, all hearsay.

I honestly think it’s not worth getting worked up about. Forget the fear of expulsion and titles stripped nonsense. No proof, nothing to build a case on. It’s crap and they know we know it.

They have won the media war but we had lost that along time ago anyway.
I am not so sanguine. I don’t believe we have done anything seriously wrong and I regularly posted “we will win” in the run up to the CAS hearing. BUT, CAS was a genuinely independent body, this tribunal will not be. The premier league will in effect pick the tribunal, hear the evidence and pronounce the verdict. Judge, jury and executioner.
CAS was an appeal of a verdict from a seriously corrupt panel; there is no appeal here even if a contrarian verdict is given. Influential members of the league, their fellow travellers, the media and not least Richard Masters are determined to see us punished regardless.
It is not beyond possibility that members of the panel, whoever they are, have already made up their minds and I think that is why we are challenging beforehand as we will have no chance of a sympathetic ear during the hearing. Remember the hateful eight had never seen any evidence whatsoever, not even those e-mails, before they signed that round robin.
BRACE, BRACE, BRACE.

If City win, or escape with a small sanction, the red cartel will then start investigating the Swailes era, accusing City of taking bribes from the inflatable banana factory and using Franny Lee’s loo paper

Where we got the stupid amount of money to buy Keith Curle for a record breaking fee when the club was on its arse does need investigation.
