PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not sure where this idea that Scruffy Jim and Khaldoon are good mates has come from. I've never seen or read anything to suggest this.
There was a Mike Keegan nonsense piece about how Ratcliffe text him a congrats after the Treble that was "warmly received" whatever the fuck that means. But Keegan is a mouthpiece and says a lot of crap.
I'm sure they share some common interests because they're in the same businesses. This is because Khaldoon is in essentially every business sector one way or another, he knows thousands of people.

I'll give you an example. Tony Khan is the "owner" at Fulham. Tony Khan owns a wrestling company called AEW. Khaldoon is the CEO of Mubadala. Mubadala and Silver Lake own Endeavour which owns TKO which owns WWE. So Khaldoon and Tony both own wrestling companies and football clubs. Because Abu Dhabi/UAE own everything.

I think board didn't want to invest in the team after City won a treble due to these charges. They want to see the verdict before investing money again. That's why two latest season it has been big downgrade in the squad (Laporte, Mahrez, Alvarez out) without signing proper replacements.
I think they just got a bit more complacent. Along with Pep too. Things weren't really that different though to how they did business prior to the 115, so I'm not buying it.

I certainly agree on that point.

During the summer of 2022 somebody at City decided that £60m was too much for Cucurella, but £42m and a six year contract was good business for Kalvin Phillips
Then out of the blue with hardly any speculation (and seemingly a last minute whim) we signed the "mistake-ridden" Akanji for fantastic value.

His goal in the CL Semi Final certainly settled my nerves.

That was all before the 115 and I suspect it will continue

It's probably more like the Abu Dhabi / UAE have their fingers in a lot of pies. Next time Masters eats a pie Khaldoons fingers have probably been in it, so he should think on.

Ratcliffe says in his book that he met Khaldoon, for the first time I assume as he didn't mention it wasn't, the year before his investment at some conference or other (iirc). Apparently they discussed a few things including football ownership. I doubt they have met much since.

INEOS have a joint 50/50 enterprise in Canada with Nova Chemicals a wholly owned Mubadala Investment Company of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Mansour is Chairman and Khaldoon is the CEO

I somewhat doubt that the high-ups in both companies would have to meet so I bet first time they met was at the FAC Final

Khaldoon and Scruffy Jim - The difference In their philosophy was stark just from the sky sports pics of them talking on Sunday.

Khaldoon is using capitalism as a force for good whilst Jim is using it for himself. I don't see many affordable houses factored in around the new swamp design or any kind of community legacy. Apart from more sewage in Salford.
