Mubadala and Silver Lake own Endeavour which owns TKO which owns WWE. So Khaldoon and Tony both own wrestling companies and football clubs. Because Abu Dhabi/UAE own everything.

I think board didn't want to invest in the team after City won a treble due to these charges. They want to see the verdict before investing money again. That's why two latest season it has been big downgrade in the squad (Laporte, Mahrez, Alvarez out) without signing proper replacements.

During the summer of 2022 somebody at City decided that £60m was too much for Cucurella, but £42m and a six year contract was good business for Kalvin Phillips
Then out of the blue with hardly any speculation (and seemingly a last minute whim) we signed the "mistake-ridden" Akanji for fantastic value.

His goal in the CL Semi Final certainly settled my nerves.

Ratcliffe says in his book that he met Khaldoon, for the first time I assume as he didn't mention it wasn't, the year before his investment at some conference or other (iirc). Apparently they discussed a few things including football ownership. I doubt they have met much since.

INEOS have a joint 50/50 enterprise in Canada with Nova Chemicals a wholly owned Mubadala Investment Company of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Mansour is Chairman and Khaldoon is the CEO

Not in the know at all but plenty on here we're worried about a meltdown last season due to amount of football played add to that 4 a row and Euros for all virtually why would burnout be a huge surprise?

Who cares whether they are friends or not. In a period when City are financially dominant, we did nothing in the transfer market.115 is not an excuse. It should have concentrated minds. You leave the legal matters to the lawyers, and you fight the battle on the pitch. Where are Manchester City's owners? Have we replaced Berrada yet?

On Derby Day I watched 33 year old and 34 year old players in the heart of Manchester City's midfield and that speaks to a lack of investment in the playing squad.
