It's one of Blue Anon's weirder adamant conspiracies that "Magic Hat" and Nick Harris are the exact same person. Always have different styles from my perspective, though they've both gone a bit mad with their conspiracies in the other direction. The whole case is a fascinating study in social psychology on how fandom (insider/outsider groups), the internet, conspiracy theorising and complex legal/business secrecy works to bring out the worst in everyone imo.

Belatedly, I think it is me that got him mixed up with Rob Harris. I think Nick doesn't write for any paper now as even they've got him sussed as a headcase.

I’ve no evidence to impart one way or the other, but as far as conspiracy theories go, I don’t think there’s anything particularly weird about it at all. Same bitterness, same sneering tone, same myopia, same style and structure. I’d be more surprised if they weren’t one and the same to be honest….
