But he definitely uses Lord Pannick. The LP may well be from an alias or naming convention. https://www.blackstonechambers.com/barristers/lord-pannick-kc/

BSB looks right, telephone number format of clerks is right. So if fake, carefully done. And all absolutely in line factually with the position as I understand it.

I think it is real.

It wouldn’t normally have the switchboard number on there, or at least in isolation. You’d normally have the direct dual to his clerk(s) especially in a multi-disciplinary set such as Blackstone. The clerks will be divided by practice areas.

And with a set like that you’d normally see references to Legal 500/Chambers and Partners junkets at the end although I guess he can put what the fuck he wants at the end of his emails (subject to the BSB/boilerplate part).

Not that it really matters one way or the other! :-)
 
Genuine question..how many hours a week do the independent panel work on this case??
Surely it shouldn't take this long even for a big case like this..

They do seem only to use the general number on a lot of Chambers docs - look at the various barrister profiles. Yes re Legal 500 etc but that is not enough for me to disbelieve. Not even close
 
If any student is studying human phycology or social phycology, this thread would get you a masters!

I bet if you look on uniteds, liverpools, arsenal's fans forum sites on 115, it will be super consistent of cheats and how many titles need stripping etc. This thread has gone here there and every where. I bet no red cartel fan or journalist has thought of emailing the lead KC!
Muffin or barm, meltdown because some referenced elbow lyrics, lawyers and accountants going at each other, cheese, races to posts 115, 11,500 now 115,000. Its gone from general confidence to negative to in house fighting based back to confidence on receiving no new information.

One thing I would definitely say is we have a very unique fan base.

After reading thousands of posts and listening to podcasts etc, based on probability, we won't get off with all 115 charges, prem league will not win all 115 charges. We won't be found guilty on the main charges or enough to give us our confidence that any sanctions will be minimal or financial, that would be a win for us. Prem league could deemed it a win if they get enough fines to cover legal fees and maybe they are confident thats what they will get. Its only my opinion based on nothing in particular but reading these pages.
 
Wow! It’s been an incredible last few hours. Just wanted to check that based on the last 24 hours posts we definitely and conclusively still 100% know that it’s certain no one has a clue about the result of this case? Amazing consistency of information if that’s true.

But there are not 115 charges, there are no more than 5 (cannot remember excactly) but each charge (except I believe the non cooperation) is multiplied by a number of rules and then by a number of years. I cannot see us being found guilty in one year and not another
especially on the ones accusing us of fraudulant accounting.
