The charges galvanised the club to reach a sporting level not matched by many. Kept us together as a fan base. Coming under constant attack and slander will do that.

So we have to listen to the odd wanker in real life or social. It genuinely doesn’t bother me like it did 2 seasons ago.

Is this all they have to throw at us? It’s not nearly enough to derail a club whose history is steeped in the trenches.

Hit after hit we keep coming back, bit like Ricky.

Financially a waste of money. Reputation dented but certainly not destroyed.

I was based in Ramsbottom, and no mither until he (George Simpson) turned up. Our site ended up with venture capitalists who just didn't understand the process and they eventually gave up and disposed. New housing estate now on old site. Cheers George.

Mate we grew up in a time that saw us lose to the likes of stockport at home and chesterfield away and we still turned up, when going to an away game was a pitched fucking battle and getting their involved some dodgy cut n shut minibus or a shitty train if it turned up, a time when we queued up for 8 sodding hours to watch us play gillingham in a playoff final, when our strikers were the likes of bob taylor and lee fecking badbuy, when after a game at maine road it was 50/50 if ur car still had wheels on it when u came bk so if the best they got is some faceless knobhead on social media bleating on about some made up charges then bring it the fuck on.

We're man city fans we are built different.

We all care. We know we do.
Our success on the pitch has been the driver for these charges. That and the fear of our continued success and sporting growth. If we were not a threat to the established clubs, this would have gone away long ago.
Exoneration brings peace, and a big FU to claims that our sporting success is illegitimate.
It will not stop accusations, for that is the nature of tribalism.
But it ends the matter in our own hearts and minds.
I look forward to the day it happens, and that's the reason I check this thread each day though I do not post in it too often.
