ok,a really good deal :-)really?

Well, Celtics fans did burn that American player's car after that Derby win. So Roberts might pick up some bad habits. Hopefully, he'll just get solid playing time. How to cheat, manipulate referees, hate British Army and become a bigot?
So the last of the three players who was "promoted to the first team" has now gone for 18 months so the new manager won't be able to have a look at him in the summer
Pellegrini said this...I think you've got yourself confused there.
The three who were promoted were Denayer, Iheanacho and Lopes.
Fucken English Messi will turn into a diving, self important prick with a huge attitude, really terrible loan deal
We should be dictating the terms to Celtic not the other way around, what a fucken shitey decision.
I'll bet he doesn't make it now, terrible choice for loan!
Fucken shame on you
I wish you well in 18 months time
Shit rules where a great young talent can go on loan to Septic and help them win the league
Shit decision City, very shit decision!
Roberts would have been better suited in championship or in Europe.
Fucks sake City why the fuck are we gifting these cunts players on cheap rates on long contracts
Pissed off a lot of people with this move, stop loaning players to Celtic ffs
fuck off
Wtf why are City loaning Septic players to win the Scottish league every season, this is pissing off the majority of fans in Scotland!
Go drunk, you're home.Fucken English Messi will turn into a diving, self important prick with a huge attitude, really terrible loan deal
I've not a clue why you're banging on about Kelechi, I ignored your initial reference to him for the same reason and still can't see what you're talking about.Again, yet Iheanacho was labelled a 20 goal a season striker last summer. That's before any minutes in the first team.
Did you question that? Probably not, you would have had I said it :)
Roberts is one of the few young players out there I have had the pleasure of watching outside of City, before he came here. Yes I do think he has enough about him to challenge for a spot in a lower part of the table club. I didn't say start, but 'challenge'.
I'm not sure why you think those minutes etc arent enough for a Bournemouth, Sunderland or Norwich etc but enough for Celtic. That's rather odd.
And looking at it your way, what convinced City to sign him?
Does anyone else get the feeling he's not a Celtic fan? I suspect he'll not be posting on this thread for awhile anyway, his posts seem to have been removed.Go drunk, you're home.
you're out of date, Roberts was training in the senior squad along with Kelechi.I think you've got yourself confused there.

Everything you say is correct. Neverthless I think Roberts was also promoted to the senior squad along with Iheanacho, but maybe I'm wrong.Loads of the EDS train with the senior squad each week, but the three we officially promoted on stage at the city live thing were Denayer, Lopes and Iheanacho.
I think we paid £2 mill (?) up front with the rest of the £11 mill fee based on appearances (for us and possibly England seniors). That's only going to get paid if he develops and this loan is perfect for him.If he gets a regular place in their starting 11 it will be a good move although 18 months does seem a very long time. As a previous poster said he should see a lot of the ball and will get to play in European games which he never would at City. If he is not playing regularly it will be a very long 18 months - hopefully there is a clause which allows him to be recalled if this is the case.
I must admit I am struggling to see the logic of spending 12M on him when we did. If he had kicked on then we could have signed him for a larger fee as we did with Sterling and KdB. The Celtic fans must be pinching themselves at our generosity towards them (or maybe not given their rag love-in connections).
