When on song he's one of our most entertaining and best players, I'd be happy to give him another season to get back to his best.

How do you feel about Yaya? :)all he does is talk the talk. Last summer we had the interview, new contract, and he fucked us about all season. Petulant, uncommitted and mardy at Barca, and stuck it to Pelle, and the club in the process, towards the end of the season.
Not accepting a lack of commitment.

Perhaps someone has been which might account for his poor performance? His missus was gutted about the performance today on Twitter.
Quick, somebody console her!

Great news! He's a top quality player and a leader when he's on the pitch! Just need to keep him fit then he'll be a real asset next season!
If you can, re-watch that game against Roma in the Champions League. No Kompany, no Yaya, no Aguero... he grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and dragged us through into the knock out rounds.A leader??? Good job all our players didn't follow his "leadership" and hack down the nearest opponent!
Two or three good performance mixed in with too much dross and petulance isn't what we need.
I watched the Roma game - yes that was one of his very few good performances last season and for a player of his supposed calibre they don't compensate for too many below par ones. He seemed to piss off Pellegrini big time toward the end of last season which is why I'm slightly surprised that he isn't leaving. If you can, re-watch that game against Roma in the Champions League. He has a big ego, I'll give you that. But you aren't going to be a big club without having ego's like that. There will be similar players in every top club in the world, it just matters how Pellegrini manages him.
