When on song he's one of our most entertaining and best players, I'd be happy to give him another season to get back to his best.

Go on then, I'll give him one more season! I have to admit I'm not his biggest fan but can see he's got loads of talent.

Don't let me down Sammy!

Piss and wind, like the way he plays most of the time. Sounds like he wants a payoff. Let us down in a big way last season and should pay the price. Wet lettuce

all he does is talk the talk. Last summer we had the interview, new contract, and he fucked us about all season. Petulant, uncommitted and mardy at Barca, and stuck it to Pelle, and the club in the process, towards the end of the season.

Not accepting a lack of commitment.
How do you feel about Yaya? :)

Time to go for Samir in my opinion. Not consistent enough or good enough against the best. Slows us up too much by holding the ball up. He's had a few little spells where he's been a useful addition when passing around the opposition's box, but not enough.

His missus was gutted about the performance today on Twitter.

Quick, somebody console her!

Perhaps someone has been which might account for his poor performance?

Great news! He's a top quality player and a leader when he's on the pitch! Just need to keep him fit then he'll be a real asset next season!

I want him sold, his performances are inconsistent, his attitude questionable and his style is lethargic - I've never taken to him,he just doesn't suit our shirt.

A leader??? Good job all our players didn't follow his "leadership" and hack down the nearest opponent!

Two or three good performance mixed in with too much dross and petulance isn't what we need.

If you can, re-watch that game against Roma in the Champions League. No Kompany, no Yaya, no Aguero... he grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and dragged us through into the knock out rounds.

He has a big ego, I'll give you that. But you aren't going to be a big club without having ego's like that. There will be similar players in every top club in the world, it just matters how Pellegrini manages him.

I watched the Roma game - yes that was one of his very few good performances last season and for a player of his supposed calibre they don't compensate for too many below par ones. He seemed to piss off Pellegrini big time toward the end of last season which is why I'm slightly surprised that he isn't leaving.

Apparently he is keen to play in the MLS. Not sure if we have room in NYCFC? If he can get his head right he can be a tremendous player, he usually appears very fragile mentally.

Fancies doing a Milner does he? ;-)

I love watching him play - the sort of player who could look at home in a world 11, sheer class when he links well with Silva & Yaya. Others I would rather see leave before him.

Saying all that, I wonder if the club think he is best rid of...

I reckon the board will have a lot of time for him after he saw us through to the round of 16 with his performance vs Roma. Has to knuckle down over these months and get fully fit in time for the start of the season. We'll have one hell of a squad if we add sterling and de bruyne to our attacking options of silva, nasri and navas.

Quality player. One of the most creative in the PL. The numbers don't lie. We'd be stupid to sell him. Silva gets injured and who do we have to pick those little passes in and around the area and keep the ball moving? Not Sterling. Even De Bruyne, if he were to come, isn't someone who will keep the team in possession - much of his creativity comes from taking risks, as evidenced by his poor pass completion. Nasri has a place at City for me. Navas should be the one to leave should both Sterling and KDB sign, they're both closer to Jesus in style than they are to Nasri.
Samir can also play in a CM 3 if needed

Milner might be the model professional and more of a fan favourite for 'getting stuck in' but had Nasri played instead of him we'd still be champions, or, at the very least, closer to CFC
