So, one and a half points each, lads??
No, three points to us as that's what happens when you win a game.

I don't get what you mean by hindsight? Did you mean insight? If so thanks. I try my best.Cheers captain hindsight.
Pardew (the ****) also said maybe City just deserved to nick it in the end and he was correct, the better side won despite your over physical, snide approach. We should have had the pen against Fernandinho, we had Sakho's great chance and we had Gayle's great chance too. You had the Navas open goal and Bony had a few half chances. You should have had a pen too. Bolasie and Puncheon had a few half chances too.
You dominated the possession and had more of the game, but we had the clearer chances and weren't stretched that much defensively.
In the end your extra quality told and we switched off in the end. In football that happens. I think Pardew himself said that we were better today and deserved more today than we did last season.
Yes and we could have nicked it too.Pardew (the ****) also said maybe City just deserved to nick it in the end and he was correct, the better side won despite your over physical, snide approach.
Missing a couple of players? non important ones like silva, sterling and for most of it sergio, not to mention zabba, delph and fernando, jeez!I thought it was a good game and a draw would have been the fair result. You were missing a couple of players, but we were missing Delaney and Ward; two of our best players.
I thought the best player for your team was Fernandinho. He had a very good game. Kompany was excellent too.
It was a physical game and I think we are one of the few teams in the league that can stand up to the likes of Mangala, Fernandinho, Kompany, Toure etc. Both teams should have had pens and whilst you certainly had the better of the possession I feel until the goal we actually had the better chances.
I see a lot of people are criticising Navas, who wasn't great and I have never been his biggest fan, but that was in part due to Souare who is excellent. I know it's a bold claim and he Shaw will certainly be in the team of the year whether he deserves it or not, but I have the feeling Souare will be all around the best left back in hte league this season.
I can't complain with our team, but we really need a better striker. I wish we had Gomis. If Stoke have a terrible season then Diouf would be a great signing.
City did what champions do and won a tough game.

Forums, you know? ;)I've just been having a read of the match thread on a Palace forum. Amazing how differently we see things. According to them, they should have had a pen, but no mention of the stonewall pen on Nasri. Yaya should have had a straight red, and there was no contact from Dann on Aguero, he dived and got the injury from landing on his knee, and all our fans are plastic.
Unfortunate my arse,it was an assault Goikoetxea or Gentile would have been proud of.Yes and we could have nicked it too.
It's unfortunate Aguero got injured and that was a bad tackle but how were we worse than you when it came to physicality? Yaya, Mangal and Nasri all put in hard challengers themselves.
I'm in complete agreement except on the fact that the worst performer on the pitch should be called out. The referee was abysmal.Even at this early stage it feels like we're destined to win the league this season. Wasn't the greatest of performances but it had oodles of character. I won't dig out players who I thought weren't great, but I will dig out all the knob heads all over social media calling one of our players a ****, fanny, twat, etc. His shot led to Kelechi's goal and just as importantly he may not be a best XI starter, but he has the trust of the manager and has delivered far more than people care to accept.
Pardew got put back in his box too which was nice. Oh and De Bruyne, (just like Sterling), looks a bargain even at the money we paid. Happy fucking days.
