It's a nice place that despite being in a touristy area is still mainly frequented by locals. A similar (and even better imo) place is u zlatého tygra, in the old town.Lifestyle
This is Prague – a city with a colorful history, lovely architecture, the world's best pivo (that's beer to Czechs) and a mysterious atmosphere so enchanting that some travelers never leave. Assuming you're wanting a good area for touristy stuff, Mala Strana is the best IMO. Alternatively the Old Town area.Any recommendations on the best part of the city to stay in please. Thinking of going for a few days in early December as I am going back in to retirement

Was in Prague in April . Had a great time ! From previous experience we stayed in the old town by the river about 6 or 7 minutes from Charles bridge . Loads of restaurants and bars in that picturesque area . Other side of the river is busier as you get into the center . The city bus tour is great value to see all of Prague and it includes a boat trip on the river ! Local beer about £1.20 a pint where we stayed .Me and the wife are off to Prague for 5 nights a week on Tuesday. Predominantly for the Arctic Monkeys gig on the Thursday but we have 3 full days there to take in the delights of the City.
Anyone have any recommendations from experience?
Things to see
Places to eat
Etc etc
