Prostate cancer

I am mate , during those blood tests I was diagnosed as Pre- diabetic with a reading of 43mmol and my chloresteral is high. Change my diet a lot , have the odd baked spud and beers at weekend but that’s it
All the best..I'm sure you'll get the diabetes under control..diet exercise you'll sort it

All the best mate and hopefully you have some great success.
At my age I get my blood checked twice a year and only last week it had gone up slowly but thankfully not too high for my GP to be concerned.
I`ve also taken note of all the various other foods that help and I`ll certainly be following Blue Mooners advice.
Stay strong and positive my friend.

I’ll share this you all but it was a quite tough how we found out … my appointment was for 3pm we got a missed call from Tameside at 2 just as me and mrs snake was leaving it the house eventually we got through to another doctor who said basically I’m sorry but your appointment has been cancelled!! Oh we thought this isn’t good as we’ve been living on edge for weeks,so he said I’ll discuss your treatment options..( this is without being told I have cancer) he could tell by my reaction that something isn’t right here so the poor bloke realised I’d not been told . He was distraught told us to get down immediately where to be fair we got the VIP treatment from them.I’m not having a go at them as I’m proud of our NHS and we realise what strain there under.
the funny side of this story came from my 14 yr old daughter when we told her how we found out … her reply was “ wow dad talk about a spoiler alert “ bloody kids eh’ ;)

I don't want to presume anything, so I'm asking this question; do you fast and if so, do you do some form of exercise along with it?

You may have some inflammation and fasting will certainly help exit toxins from your body, allowing inflammation to settle.

I say this as I, myself, returned to fasting a few weeks back, gradually introduced vigorous exercise again and certainly feel the difference!

It’s something I’ve looked into and I think it was you who posted a very interesting video about fasting. I eat generally about 6-30 /7-00 and don’t have anything till 10-00 clock next morning, I don’t know if that’s regarded as fasting ? I’m a joiner and have a active job and concerned fasting could be dangerous whilst I’m working.

I was diagnosed 3 years ago, from the uncomfortable testing it seemed like the tumour was not close to spreading, but after a conversation with my wife we agreed it was better to go ahead with a prostatectomy. The Da Vinvi robot, in the capable hands of my surgeon, did the job well. In fact they told me afterwards that the tumour was much closer to escaping and could have caused the cancer to spread, so I am so glad I did it, despite the consequences. Don’t ignore the symptoms guys, get checked out!
