good move for him, at Chelsea he was not gonna play, while at Arse he will be in title race, in form he is better than Martinelli, Trossard and also can fill in for Saka who is never injured anyway.

not too happy as Arse had a decent window, Calafiori, Merino, Sterling all decent players, who will add much more options, deeper squad and some quality too to them than likes of Phillips, Nunes gave us. hope Savio, Gundo balances that out

he was frustrating at times for sure, but still was crucial part of the team with serious end product. once we got in Grealish writing was on the wall for him, we also got great fee for him.

wonder if similar loan deals why never entertained by Txiki, dont see much risk in them, while the upside is positive if turns out to be great. worst case scenario they flop as big as Phillips, but then they return to sender, rather than stuck with Phillips loaned out until free agent.

Raya on loan also wasnt bad for Arse last year.
 
My favourite player before Doku and glad to see Blues showing love unlike the dippers still trying to mock him when he has had a better career than their legend, Gerrard!

Love it for Raheem a London boy and at the club he supports. Just do not score against us!

Why would we boo a player who won more Premier Leagur titles than your whole squad put together, scored over 130 goals and was sold on for more than he was bought for after 7 trophy laden seasons.
Will you boo Sancho who cost over £70 million and won the square root of fuck all?
 
I see this a little differently than most. He won't replace Saka so he's up against Martinelli and Trossard for the other wide spot. Not sure he'll get the game time he wants that way, but will probably be better than if he'd stayed at Chelsea. Not a great move, but not a shockingly bad one either

His best days are way behind him, he'll be running up blind alleys trying to beat too many defenders before losing the ball and missing easy chances, he's very frustrating and not the play he was. Pep and the Waistcoat both know he was on the wane.
 
I think he would have been a disaster at united and Arsenal is the place I didn't want him to go to. His most successful period for us was when he was coached by Arteta and I think he'll get the best out of him this season.
