Rangers Thread - 2023/24

Another penalty for fuck all. Shameless.
The penalty looked an absolute stonewaller to me. Silva was cute and flicked the ball and the defender slid in and wiped him out. Obviously I’m at game so will have to see it back.

Tbh there was so much grappling , shirt pulling , pushing and barging in the box I thought it only a matter of time before a penalty was given.

Was checking coupon on phone , waste of money, and missed the challenge on McAusland but you can usually tell by players reactions and to a man the Rangers team were incensed. Again I’ll reserve judgement until I’ve seen it.

As for Motherwell. They rode their luck obviously but the big lad upfront was a handful. Absolutely terrorised Goldson and Souttar. Big strong powerful runner. Looked dangerous the whole game.

It’s ok having a go at Muir and looking to blame someone but Muir didn’t miss the 30-35 chances that were created! You simply cannot keep missing chances and expect to win games.

Raskin is a passenger in this team and especially when you have Lundstram and Diomande in there already! He’s a neat and tidy holding midfielder but we need him to be creating more.

It would be the stretch of all stretches to suggest Motherwell deserved the win but at the end of the day they rode their luck and took their chances so good luck to them.

Not too disheartened, surprisingly, as we played well enough but sometimes you’ll get games like that. I’d be more worried if we weren’t creating

Everybody else saying Well deserved it. Even if they didn’t, you shat it. That’s the bottom line. Niw we could go and fail at Gearts, we could, but we won’t.

Saw the highlights. Dessers was good. :)

Everybody? You’ve been a busy boy if you’ve managed to ask everybodies opinion

Facts say different. All the possession. All the chances. Nobody to blame but ourselves

Not a good Rangers performance but no Red, Yellow or even a foul for that tackle was criminal by Cardinal Muir

High, late, reckless, studs-up, a leg breaker

Well we won’t be seeing the Irish lad back round here for a while lol : )))))))))))))))))

Huge night for Rangers and for me personally as my nephew is a huge Benfica supporter and lives three doors away.

Yet again Rangers have punched way above their weight to top their group and reach this stage.

I’m not nervous over the outcome as Benfica are levels above where we are. I’m nervous it could be a real sore one tonight making the home leg meaningless

If we were at full strength I’d fear the worst but with our attacking options so severely impacted I’ll go for a realistic/ possibly optimistic 2-0 Benfica. That would give us a slight chance of doing something in the Home leg.

Just seen that the final is in Dublin. Can't see their being any trouble there if Rangers make the final...
