I said earlier that I've never subscribed to sport being rigged but the more I look at it, I just don't know...

He whistles so fucking quickly after initially doing the right thing of playing the advantage. I'm sure I'll wake up in the morning and put it down to referee error, but man, it looks so fucking dodgy on replay.

i was at the game and fucking fuming BUT after seeing the incident in the clip on this thread he clearly blows for a foul, at that point it’s my understanding he cannot allow play on cos the ball is dead. But for whatever reason he allowed Haaland to play a moving ball, realises he has fucked up and pulls back play. The referee is lazy and incompetent, but probably not corrupt, just shit.

He didn't blow his whistle. He put his whistle in his mouth in anticipation of having to blow if there was no advantage to play on. He blew his whistle once Grealish was one on one with the keeper.
You can hear him when he does finally blow.

Howard Webb is overseeing the worst refereeing since i have been watching football over 60years and this is depsite VAR assisting pure incompetence on the pitch , they have lilly livered referees who cannot stand up to a partisan crowd , they make favourable decisions to certain clubs and punish the clubs that will increase a referee's popularity.
The current set up does look corrupt and is open to manipulation PGMOL can virtually decide where the league title goes this season , the Premier league want a red 'istree club back at the top and i am quite sure Howard will help provide this.
