He has to be interfering in the opinion of the ref, if VAR has a different opinion the ref's has primacy. VAR makes the decision if the player touches it, but not interfering decisions.I think Akanji falls into this offside law:
He’s in an offiside position and almost steps over the ball which impacts the keeper’s dive. Keeper hesitates because he thinks Akanji might play the ball.

I don’t think VAR would ask Oliver to look at it, aren't offsides the decision of VAR?
Just like the one when we were robbed at OT which was worse and no VAR. Newcastle got one chalked off against us like this in 2014/15 but people on here claimed it should have been given. We will get some against us so may as well take this one.
