Ref Watch City Games - 2023/24

Can’t complain about the added time. We were winning at 90 mins and looking shaky so I was relieved when only 4 mins went up
Five at HT with all the stoppages for VAR injury and time-wasting at that point we were on top. and it should have been more at FT, the fact we dint want it doesn't make it right

He pulls his arm enough to alter Bernie's approach, which allows him to steal the ball Clear foul and strictly speaking a booking for pulling an opponent I doubt that Tierney saw it but VAR should have flagged it to him and Tierney would have awarded a foul The City players were asking him but all he wanted to do is check the pen, which the Place player dived like Tom Daley, unfortunately any slight touch regardless of the affect is enough to award a pen Anyone with a knowledge of Bio-Mechanics would be able to explain that the actions of the palace player wasn't a result of any slight contact Take the forth goal for Bournemouth last week disallowed for handball which was a consequence of the GK coming out and swiping at the forward making him stumble as he jumped to avoid the GK the ball spun up hit on the hand result disallowed Ridiculous should have been allowed as a) handball was not intentional and didn't gain him any advantage or b) a penalty
Hmmmm.... City through and through (since '67) for me but this is an extreme example of bluetintedspecitus. To say the Palace player dived is crazy.... Foden swung a foot and nearly put the lad in row Z. Admit it we fucked up and move on.

Nah, it’s just a fascinating character study.

We all wonder how seemingly normal people can be caught up in QAnon and then a thread like this exists and it all makes sense…

Hell, in a game where Lewis and Grealish were ruled onside, Ederson wasn’t sent off and City conceded goals from pub standard defending and the most stonewall penalty you’ll see all season some people are still trying to blame the officials.
You're a Wum. Pure and simple. Even if you are a Blue, your sole aim is to come on here and be against anything a Blue says.

You are saying that Foden put enough force in his swing to put the player in row z? If that was the case he went in the wrong direction. The reality is that the Place player was looking for the pen, Foden did "put his foot out he didnt swing, maybe there was some slight contact but, was it sufficient to cause the action that the palace player executed At most he would have stumbled

Fans are simply very biased and think most calls that goes against them are wrong and most calls that goes their way is correct. That combined with that you always remember the times you've been "wronged" but never remember when calls go your way (since they are always deemed correct) is the reason to why every fanbase in England are convinced the refs are bent and against them.

I too complain about the refs at times, but many around here seem to have a vicim mentality, blaming everyone but ourselves for our poor performances. Ironic how some here call you a dipper when this victim mentality they themselves show is something scouse are known for.

City should be able to beat Palace at home, especially when being 2-0 up, regardless if the ref is "good" or "bad". We shouldn't be pointing fingers at others when our own performance was simply not good enough.

Attwell was the **** in Stockley Park.

The amount of time he took to give Jackie's goals followed by the speed to disallow the free kick said it all.
According to some Liverpool and Arsenal fans the amount of time was to allow him to find a way of giving a goal he shouldn't! That's the problem with this conspiracy shit-you can take circumstantial evidence and spin it any way you want!

It doesn't matter if you are right or not, if your posts are written in a condescending, snide and insulting style you will, rightly, get called out on that.
The content of your posts is irrelevant if you deign to speak to people as if they are beneath your intellect and only deserve contempt.
