Five was the least we should have got. I would be very surprised if there was anything like 10 mins played in the second period of extra time, likewise no way was 13 mins played in the first period. Yet he managed to give 6 when Madrid needed it. He was a cheating **** tonight, without a doubt
 
Just watched it back - one singular stoppage in the second half of extra time was 2.50. Add on other stoppages and substitutions and you’re probably looking at 4-5 minutes but no only 3 but the ref blows on 2.50. It’s not right. We probably wouldn’t have scored anyhow but give us a chance!!! (Actually we might have if Casemeiro had received one or two yellows!)
It really is bent - still UEFA have got their dream final

This is completely true a totally accurate take on proceedings.. but… still our fault. 100%

There is nothing as city fans we can say about it without sounded like sour grapes, that's the annoying thing. Yes we didn't close the game out in the last 5 mins and missed chances in both legs but I would say that the lack of two yellows for Casemiro (which would have meant him missing a huge chunk of the game) plus the additional time added on for no reason at full time and the missing 3 minutes at extra time had a material impact on the game, certainly the Casemiro point.

You can “imagine” a lot of things in football but having the ball in by their corner flag 2 goals up in the 89th minute of a champions league semi final and losing is beyond the realms or imagination.
 
It's the subtle disparities in decision making that gets to the players. Kev and Phil well off the boil because of the way the game was being 'managed'. Real players were emboldened, and that gave them the edge.

It's something that's often difficult to pick up on when you get wrapped up in the action, but if you take a step back and just observe the actions of the officials you'll see subtle differences that make huge differences to the outcome of games.

Anyone remember the moment in the 1st half where the referee fist bumped Modric? Our players would have picked up on that 100% and I'm sure it must have got to them big time because that would NEVER happen if the game is being moderated fairly.
 
Some strange calls and the lack of time played in the second half of the extra time was strange Eddy with ball in hand ready to launch it. Blows up. We fucked up in both games didnt kill them off. Missed chances cost us big time. How we come back from this will be key. We will be classed as bottlers. But now Pep and the team need to show what we are truely made of the game at the weekend is huge we need to put a marker down and win it.

They’ve been kicked off the pitch over these last 4 games in champs league.
 
This is what the knicker wetters don’t seem to realise. When playing other top teams like dippers and Madrid the margins are actually very fine and refs make a huge difference, one way or the other. Dippers 45 league games without a pen against is such an obvious cheat, Milner not getting sent off, TAA playing basketball in the area, offside goals not VAR’d, both Madrid teams getting away with murder, it’s simply not 11 v 11. Yes we fucked up today, but we get fucked over more or less every week. And now the irony of another pen not given v dippers and Lampard being done for some incredibly mild comments. Fucking blatant corruption
