Russian invasion of Ukraine

Sort of agree.
However, so long as Russia doesn’t collapse - whatever the result, a Russia keptbin the fught by China would emerge from the Ukraine war as a defacto client state of China.
I posted it as I thought it warranted discussion.
Whatever the outcome it will hugely impact on geopolitics, so of course it’s worthy of debate.

Trump has tightened the timeline on Russia to agree a ceasefire to 10 to 12 days.

I don't believe it myself but there you go.

Why does the CNN Ukraine correspondent paint such a pessimistic view of the war, saying the Russians are making advances ?

He's got a point.

Slava Ukraini.

I hope they are right. From the previous main counter the biggest issues seemed to be clearing mine fields and then Helicopters using air to ground missiles to take out Ukrainian mine clearers at distance.

Hopefully the Ukrainians have come up with some way to clear the mines via land drones and to take out the helicopters.

Lots has changed in the way this war has been fought since then.

Rumours of a big data / system breach was part of the reason why the airports were closed recently.

I have wondered how hard it would be to hack Russian IT systems. The hacking technology that Western firms suffer from is fairly well understood and takes significant ongoing resources to stop. Why would EU nations not be deploying cyber threat techies to UKA to see what can be done.

@SPIDERBOY heard anything on this?
