Re: Nasri

I'm over it now,but he let the team down and the fans big time against Norwich.Concerning the incident, anyone who has ever played football knows if you pull out of a tackle, your ego may get hurt.Just delighted the team pulled the 3 points out of the bag, crucial.

Re: Nasri

A waste of a jersey, I was buzzing when we signed him, thought he was better than Silva now I know he's only here for the money and is a bottler, punt him in the summer.

They are all here for the money.

They are all here for the money.

But at least they put the effort in.

Re: Nasri

he has been a massive disappointment since we signed him, lacking both the creativity we thought he had, the directness we need and the effort every professional high-paid sportsman should have. we need to look for another solution than nasri imo.

Re: Nasri

Been a poor signing i agree, had the odd good game but that's about it. I was warned about this by a good mate of mine a big gooner from London. Told me he only had a good 6 months there and was delighted with the price they got for him, even said to me you will be wanting rid after a season or two and he is spot on. Just drifts though most games without really making an impact.

Can't believe how much of a shit bag he can be, especially with shying away from the ball in the wall in the last derby.... A fucking top of the table Manchester derby clash!! I will never ever ever forgive him for that!!

and to think mata was the same price and is on 100k a week less:(

Carzorla was cheaper and is probably on less. Still all if's and buts but would have either of those two above Nasri anyday!

City need better attacking midfielder than Nasri

Thats it imo.

City need another attacking midfielder better than Nasri.

Someone who is as good as Silva, but with better goal threat.

Re: Nasri

I think Nasri is on 150k without bonuses.

However it just shows Arsenal is a small club. You can perform there but when you join the big one... i's not same. Look at Modric, Song and other guys.

Re: Nasri

I've said it since he joined. He's a clown. A coward. A waste of money and, nine times out of ten, a liability. Easy to defend against, difficult to defend behind. Too many moves break down when he's on the ball, too many runs are wasted. A two-trick pony.

Trick 1: The Nasri Shuffle. Receive the ball in a wide position. Put your foot on it. Show it to the defender. Rotate 90 degrees, taking four more touches, allowing the defender to get tight. Pass back to your holding midfielder while all your attackers have to check your runs and your opposition defence get organised.

Trick 2: The Half One-Two. Recieve the ball in a wide position. Take three touches and put foot on ball. Poke the ball ten yards to the feet of a tightly marked striker. Make run as though ready to receive one two, which never comes because your first pass was into too much of a danger area.

Not much to add ^^^

The biggest irony for me is handing best part of £80m to Arsenal for the likes of Adebayor, Kolo, Nasri...

And our best deal with them was also the cheapest - £7m Clichy - outstanding.

Nasri doesn't lack talent, but like Balotelli and a few others, lacks desire and application.
