Why would anyone pay for Ade or RSC in July, when they can pay for them in late August saving 6 weeks or so's wages ?

So they can play at the start of the campaign
But by missing a couple of games you still get them, usually at a knock down price, and you don't pay them until September.

Anyway this thread is about Sinclair, not the waste of space and money that has been RSC's City career.

True

Squad juggling act, we are waiting to see if other priority targets can be signed. This means shifting players or at least finding a buyer so that players can come in. If those don't materialise he will then be signed possibly on last day of window.

Just ask yourself is it better to pay 6.5m on Sinclair or say for eg 17 -18m for the Isco kid (not that we have been linked) for me I would go with the later. If we don't get him Sinclair is an easy fall back.

And Mancini wanted his targets early in to have a good pre-season with them.:)
He should tell this to Marwood too...

Sinclair will come probably for more than 8m but maybe not until Wednesday/Thursday.
Marwood is a genius to make it late and even more expensive.:)

Laudrup said it's not over he could stay too he plays this game well that's what he should say if they want a few millions more...
