Scott Sinclair (continued)

This was always a take it or leave it transfer. If the price is right then fine but we're not paying multi millions for squad players.

So Swansea can take it or we should leave it.

If you didint expect us to sign anyone why are you bothered about the departure of AJ making it harder to sign Sinclair.

And given Khaldoon had publicly praised the work Marwood has done does that mean you question his judgement.

I wouldn't have sold AJ in the first place. I thought he was a useful member of the squad. Must have missed Khaldoon praising Marwood and no, I wouldn't question his judgement but if Mancini says Marwood's job is to bring players then I would expect him to be able to add the 3 we need to make us better than we were last season. He hasn't done this.

Marwood does not report to Mancini.

Yes I know. I presume Mancini identifies his targets and leaves it to Marwood to try and get them in (assuming they are within budget and availabe etc).

Getting a great chuckle at those complaining we shouldn't have sold AJ first. The people complaining are in equal number to those (probably even the same people), who say we put ourselves at a disadvantage selling later because clubs know we need to offload the players and get shit prices for everyone.

But we wouldn't have HAD to offload AJ even if we had signed Sinclair, would we? It may have been preferable but then he was on a long contract, one is right footed the other left footed. It is not like it would have been a desperate situation if we had bought Sinclair first, so it wouldn't really have undermined our position with Sunderland imo.

Swansea won't let Sinclair go on a free next summer. I can't see why a fee won't be agreed in the next few days.

Walcott?

from a very very very top source, City want Walcott and the deal is very likely to happen

Agreed. They'll be desperate to get something for him while they can. Just a bit of posturing going on which people are over-reacting to.

If that happens I reckon Wenger might have a fury induced stroke.

I think Mancini was exasperated with AJ whom he couldn't get to play his way so attitude cost AJ. Mancini identifies who he wants and Marwood does the deals. In the case of Sinclair he wants to leave and at weekend was left out of the squad with members of the coaching staff saying it was just a matter of finalising the deal. Mow their chairman says we haven't made an offer then they are reporting they have turned down £6.8m - well you know what? Fuck;em We'll do without, they can have a disgruntled player until the January window when we can offer less as he'll be 6 months away from a Boman anyway and the vast monet making machhine that is Swansea City FC can just raise £7m via other means !!

What's that? They can't? I refer the honourable gentleman to the answer I gave previously - Fuck;em !!

I feel we will still sign him too. I hope the fee is disclosed so we can see who won the battle of wills.

More likely to get Theo Kojak

Ibrahim Affelay also available so Swansea had better be careful with the game they're playing. They do not hold all the cards
