Seville sold out is class with with us selling there 2nd and 3rd tier just looking online Chelsea at home in the cup is showing that only 3,506 ticket left for that will sell out easy

We probably would have struggled to sell the Seville game out years ago especially if it was a dead rubber. Are the pricing of these games better or is it maybe our fanbase has grown due to Haaland?

It is new fans, a lot are the Barcelona /Real Madrid types.

That’s pretty amazing Seville being sold out, for what is almost certainly going to be one small notch above a friendly effectively.

100%. I'm taking my missus to her first CL game... bought the tickets after we had won the first two and it was pretty clear the game is gonna be dead rubber, I literally thought she's gonna see half empty stadium

I think there’s quite a lot of lifelong blues out there who have been priced out or lost the habit of regularly attending. They clearly haven’t stopped being City fans and the absolute world star we’ve bought coupled with decent prices have enticed them back. Long may it continue.

£20 to see Haaland is a bargain. It costs more than that to sit at Edgeley Park

yeah and what will happen to the club when the sheikh gets bored??
One can only speculate but Stockport would be getting 20’000 a game & Chelsea shirt sales would go through the roof, we’d play in the athletics stadium in front of 450 people, with Steve Coppell as manager and SWP captaining the side, the campus would be turned into a giant interactive football site ran by Kick Air

It's not really old school lifetime blues who are attending CL matches filling the slack from the regulars in my experience. It's new fans from around the world, students, neutrals and tourists who can't get into Premier Leagie games.

Absolutely Dave, there are lots of ‘new’ blues but there’s no doubt ‘old-timers’ are popping up in their droves, I’ve seen them! Why wouldn’t they?

I hope so. I also notice a lot of kids with their mothers for some reason. I'd guess that the kid has decided to support City and these are the games the mum can get tickets for. It's another reason the club should move the singers together and improve the atmosphere. Sitting in silence because our fans are being outnoised by a lot of berks bouncing and banging a drum is not as attractive to those kids who we need to hook in for life.

The pre-Christmas attendance has been outstanding this year. Moreso when you consider the economic situation.

Come the run-in, tickets are going to be like gold-dust. We should have started the North Stand Expansion sooner!

I've noticed this mum and kids thing at CL matches. Maybe dad gets his football kick on Thursdays?

I told my neighbour when he rolled up for the Copenhagen game that that his was the first English voice I'd heard!

I suspect it’s single mums in a lot of cases. Not members, not in the system but buying one off tickets because the lad is City daft. Obviously I’m generalising and stereotyping here.

Steady on Dave; I know from years of work experience that multitasking on a Friday never ends well.
One or the other then pub at lunchtime.

You know it makes sense.

;-)

I agree. We need a home end that is visually intimidating/impressive as well as being noisy. That makes up for the numerous swathes of newbies/tourists who are pictured in the crowd taking selfies and filming things. Personally I think it would be best to have all the singers clubbed together in SS Level 3 (unless or until we get a NS "wall") because the design of the roof maximises noise retention up there.
