Given the state of education in the UK at the moment, just going to school seems stupid.Always thought going to school in a blazer and collar and tie was stupid.

I'm no expert but I am told by an expert that there is a big difference between Tax Avoidance and Tax Evasion - avoidance is acceptable, evasion isn't. Not that that stops me from doing 'deals for cash' with local tradesmen when I can save a packet! ;-)If they’re avoiding tax then that’s a different matter altogether and they’re putting their entire livelihood at risk in doing so. Doesn’t alter the fact that there’s billions of pounds lost to the U.K. economy each year in card fees, money which these businesses could have used for the benefit of their customers or other businesses.
The liability for VAT is on the seller, not the purchaser. So the tradesman is evading tax, you are innocent.I'm no expert but I am told by an expert that there is a big difference between Tax Avoidance and Tax Evasion - avoidance is acceptable, evasion isn't. 100% agree with this, had fucking fireworks going for 20 minutes last night starting at midnight and the same on Tuesday - woke me up both nights and took me an age to get back to sleep. Probably 1/4 mile away from me but must be infuriating for the poor sods who are closer. The local knobheads setting off fireworks now at 11:53 p.m
You are Mr Magoo and I claim my £5.Watching a TV detective drama. The police are communicating with a suspect by a series of text messages which are vital to the plot. The messages are so tiny on the TV screen that they are impossible to read. My TV screen is only 43" which is not big by modern standards but even so why can't the producers understand that if viewers can't read the messages the whole programme becomes meaningless. This was an ITV show by the way.
