The Boxing thread

Fury and Wilder both have mandorary fights next then will fight each other. Bellew said last night that him and Haye have talked about a fight at catch weight and this may happen soon. Haye looked in good shape last night and dosnt seem to have lost too must speed albeit the 60 sec we saw. After 3 1/2 years out the ring he's was never going to be put in with a banger, more to see how the shoulder coped up and if he still had the power.

Dont think Bellew be thinking of a fight with Haye think he will be hoping to get his World title shot some time soon. Also going by Hayes interview last night he now feels comfortable in the heavyweight division. Also with Shane McGugian involved he has a speical trainer in his corner the kid seems to get the best out of his fighters in his gym. Has Frampton cant wait to see how George Groves looks when he is back 2 weeks time as there is just something that Shane is doing thats getting the best out of his fighters from the strenght and conditioning to the diet and sport science he is using with his fighters there is a reason why more and more fighters are looking at Shane as a potential trainer.

Yeah seemed strange that Bellew would say he'd want to fight Haye, maybe he felt put on the spot, plus I'd see a repeat of the Adonis Stevenson fight when they fought at light heavy with Haye being to fast and to heavy handed for bellew. Spot on about Shane mcguigan he's doing something right and I think Groves will put a show on.

Don't really understand most people's beef with Haye, he was shite against klitsko but has mostly delivered. I'm glad to see him back and hopefully can win a world title

Theres more of a chance of Haye winning another World Title before Aj. I seen Eddie Hearn saying he wants the fight with Haye v Aj just think Aj needs to get in with a legit banger before he goes in with Haye. Haye has the power and has proved he can take a punch well something AJ has yet to do up at elite level.

Think Haye would KO Joshua personally.

Plenty of holes in Joshua, he's still very raw, in spite of all his physical gifts.

Could see it in Haye as he was being interviewed post fight about Whyte/Joshua. He saw those flaws and knew he could exploit them, he has good reason to be keen on that fight.

If Joshua was foolish enough to take it and Haye stopped him it could propel Haye right back into the limelight and have him challenging again very shortly, plus, it would clearly make him a few quid.

Hearn won't let Josh near Haye just yet and rightly so, its far too risky at this stage. Fury and Haye is still a fight id love to see but seems a long way off. Furys refusal to fight him after Haye pulling out maybe a none starter. Money talks though and if Haye has a belt to bring to the table I'm sure things will change.

Kell Brook defends his IBF world welterweight title against Kevin Bizier on March 26th at Sheffield arena. Amir Khan says he wants to fight the winner of Danny Garcia and Robert Guerrero next. Hopefully we'll get a summer showdown with Kell if all goes to plan and Khan gets passed Garcia this time round.
