The British Monarchy

True. But on the other hand, why? Just to satisfy the internet demand for instantaneous answers any time a bunch of people fancy it? Not the best example to set.

You know who I haven't seen or heard from in a while? Arsenne Wenger. I demand to know where he is and what he's up to, and I'll decide if it passes the online smell test. #arsennegieusawave.

They have said they will update people on her recovery when it is right. The public can wait.
Wenger was on telly this week praising City and Pep.

The point is they work for the british public and are accountable to promote a possitive public image, unecessary speculation and gossip from not just internet cranks, but our established press is easily avoidable, they are not above scrutiny.

No sensitive info needs relaying also, but until someone shows their face this circus will continue.

He’s on the latest Inside City video.

I am not being impolite, to either you or @Plays By Sense Of Smell , by not replying further. I simply don't care enough, and 3 posts on a topic I don't care that much about is already too many.

I get what you are both saying. I would say that is true. Depending, entirely how much, if at all, you care. I don't (I am not anti nor pro monarchy) so it doesn't mean that to me, but I get and respect that it might to others.

Still think it is an over exaggeration of largly insignificant things, and generated predominantly by a public need to fill headline space. I don't read any more into it beyond that.

What I do find a bit odd is those usually arguing apathy for the royal family suddenly having strong views. Sorry for bracketing you in that as you highlight above, it was meant to be more genearal than that.

Beyond that, I really have nothing else meaningful to say on it, with no disrespect at all to either of you. That isn't even an 'agree to disagree' get-out, I don't even particularly disagree. I'm just avoding myself rambling on.
No worries mate, not massively committed one way or the other myself. Just interested in the dynamic.

The Royals have obviously decided that like most reality tv families it’s the scandal and intrigue that keeps them relevant.

Can’t wait for season 2 to come out.

Is this a shakespeare play?

the plot(all alledged btw by social media conspiracies and no way the opinion of myself)

Prince has and affair, has an ilegitimate older heir.
Princess Wife complies (though draws the line at strap ons)
The affair continues and another illegitimate heir cocieved.
Enter stage left Thomas Kingston who either is seduced by the now fed up princess and and ends up knocking her up or he helped her run away.
Either way the prince has him murdered and the pregnat princess forced to have an abortion.
She has since absconded from the palace and is in hiding or in a coma, or dead, or perfectly fine.

Now the silly rumours are all done the batshit alien lizard ones can start ;-)
The Merry Wives of Windsor.

what gets me about all this is the rest of the world are reading reports?speculation - is there an affair? Has Wills tupped the gel? Is Kate about to ditch him? Did Meghan alert Kate to the goings and Kate denied it hence the fall out between the couples?

Meanwhile in the UK - where they are the Royal Family there is a news blackout. Penny Mordaunt is the headline. Fucking mental country we live in.

This post and accompanying image are misleading. The photo of Kate used here is from last autumn. Kate was not seen by any verified sources and there are no photographs of her ‘public trip.’

It's a fucking mad world, is the 'false' piccy captioned as such or is the inference that it was taken when she was out & about?

Exciting stuff

Had a look on X-Twitter, lots of royal stuff trending on there.

They should announce a bank holiday when they find her, only seems fair.
