The End of on Street Parking within walking distance of the Etihad

Do locals have to agree to this, but still have to pay for their own ticket while the local council get to be remunerated for the fines?

Resident only parking schemes in Hulme don’t charge locals for parking. They get two free badges per house. ( Or at least that was the case up to a couple of years ago that I know about )

So I’d guess it would be the same in other similar parking schemes in Manchester.

As more and more new housing developments are built around Eastlands, the parking situation will only get worse.

There are housing and apartments under construction near Ashburys Train Station. That’s where I normally park.

Manchester’s population is booming, especially in the city centre and in the outer fringes of the city centre into the inner suburbs.

Sort the shit bus services out first Burnham you prick. Buses every hour after 9pm is a fucking joke

Who voted this **** in and why do we have him anyway?
Don't be stupid. This is nowt to do with Burnham. It's the city council.

I was about to say, the railway line runs within a few minutes walk of the ground, if they could build a station. Didn’t even realise there was a disused one there.

Highly doubt it will happen though. They don’t even bother using the one they’ve actually already got right outside Old Trafford any more. Due to funding I believe.
£20m+ for a new station, for a few times a year. No chance.

It’s GMPTE.

So you parked at Pifco and walked to the graveyard every weekend..? Fair play man..
No mate. I was 14 and didn't drive.
I was just reminiscing about the old days when I walked down the cut to my Nans on the weekend.
Me telling people to park at Pifco (not saying that I parked at Pifco was just a joke.
Actually, if I was to visit then now it would be in Phillips Park Cemy.

I'm not sure what you're taking about but the RPZ proposals are the city council.

I’ve already said, I’m sure it isn’t going to happen. But if it did, it wouldn’t just be used a few times a year when City are at home. You’re going to have concerts on next to the ground probably something like 200 times a year. Plus the people in the area itself would make use it.
