I don't think they ever thought that there current crop could win the league this season.
That squad is nowhere near good enough to challenge for honours and they can consider themselves lucky they were not in Europa this season or they would be behind Newcastle Stoke and Norwich now.
Gerrard is 30 going on 35 now and King Kenny still thinks he the best player in the premiership.

That's a game that has to be won inside 90 minutes, so I imagine they'll play out of their skins like they always do against us.
