Cole and Evra are 30 odd, Evra has been awful this season hence United looking into signing Jordi Alba. Clichy is fucking shit mate, he's great at attacking but awful at defending, Enrique is great at both and he's strong as fuck.

There is no way Clichy is better than Enrique. Thats actually laughable. If he was that good he would be holding down that left back slot week in week out.

Week in - week out? Fucking lol. You do realise that we play in lots of competitions and choose the left back for tactical reasons depending on the opponent. It also allows them to rest. We do the same with our world class strikers, midfielders and right back.

Hence the reason i edited the post. But still there is no way Clichy is better than Enrique, of course were both just siding with the players we support. But Enrique offers the same as Clichy but with strength and defending.

I haven't seen enough of Enrique to comment on him but I have seen enough of Clichy to know he is excellent and to call him shit is laughable. La.

Defensively you’d have to say that it was between Gael Clichy and Patrice Evra for the best defender out of the five but I’m leaning towards Clichy as he managed to trump Evra in quite a lot of the stats. So, unfortunately, there’s no all rounder in the left back department but two players shone in separate areas. Gael Clichy, surprisingly, was the best defender just edging out Patrice Evra and Leighton Baines was standing tall, by far, the best attacking left back in the Premier League this season!

Personally I've always found Clichy to be a very good defender, but has been prone to lapses in concentration in the last few years which has hurt his reputation in my eyes. It mustnt be too easy playing in that Arsenal defence though, and I've been extremely impressed with his play in defence and going forward so far this season. For me, he's been the best left back in the league this season.

Clichy's started 7 matches for us too, but has been rested for European matches. Liverpool might have the same problem with Enrique one day if they keep improving. ;)

My mate is a dipper like you and he says enrique hasnt pulled any trees up & is above average at best at the moment!

I'm a Spurs fan so i am predisposed to dislike Clichy, but even i have to admit that he is better than Enrique. Enrique can be as strong and as quick as he likes, but he still got turned inside out by Defoe.

I haven't ever rated Enrique as highly as many others have, even while he was at Newcastle. To be a top-class left-back, you really need to excel in both attack and defence, and he is just decent at both. You will see him high up the pitch without doing too much, and he allows wingers to cut in far too much. Clichy is the best left-back I've seen play at Eastlands for a long time, and that is quite pleasantly surprising.

Clichy over Enrique any day for me. He has been excellent for usthis year in defence and attack, especially as mentioned previously in the 6-1.

I don't have this dislike of Liverpool but I for one wouldn't swap any of ours for theirs.

the spurs and chelsea fans claiming that clichy is shite have no doubt watched him in london derbies where he has been left exposed by arsenal's defensive incapabilities. they've took a few good beatings from tottenham and chelsea over the last few years so no doubt clichy has been viewed as part of a crap defence. now he's in a quality line up we can see how good he really is. bobby manc knows class when he sees it.

I myself dont hate you lot. Some of you go nuts on rawk which is good comical value, then again we probably have a few that lose it on match day.

Can i ask what your view is on your summer signings, cheers.

We clearly over paid for Carroll, Downing and Henderson but i think in a few years the fee we paid might seem to be a decent deal for henderson who is only 21(The official fee was 16milion not 20 milion despite what you might of read in certain news papers).

I think getting enrique for around 6milion was a bargain, i rate him quite highly personally.

Charlie adam for 7 milion is not a bad price but we are still yet to see if he can really make it here and fit into our team, i think hes been abit lucky that gerrard has been out injured.

We also signed sebastian coates for 7milion which i believe is one for the future, hes 21 and is already a uruguay international, carragher is getting on so he can possible be his replacement.

and finally Bellemy and Doni on a free, i really like bellamy and on current form i would put him into the starting 11 over downing but i cant see kenny doing it.

I don't hate Liverpool (or any other club) how ridiculous to hate another set of players or fans because they happen to support or play for another team? I am always told humanity has moved on, but I doubt it.

But I will take the piss, engage in banter etc, but as to hating anyone, life is far too short for that, and if I am busy hating others I am not concentrating on the things that matter
