How big a factor was that gravel groupset and gearing there and will Ineos and G regret not doing the same I wonder?

Just caught up and watched it now.Well done Cav
Made my day that, after the disappointment of yesterday. Really generous from Thomas there too.
City are having potentially the greatest season ever, but if Cav repeats that in France, it will be off the scale.

I can finally read this thread, have been avoiding Giro media so as not to spoil results when watching catch up on Eurosport. Absolutely gutted for Geraint, he didn't really put a foot wrong all race. Roglic is a phenomenal rider so to push him all the way is one he'll of an achievement.
Chuffed for Cavendish, thought he wouldn't finish but stuck with it.
