The first series was good, the second ok and the rest were complete shite. That’s very sad news.
Mrs Vienna and I loved "Benidorm," and watched it religiously.
Elsie played Noreen brilliantly and she was a fantastic side-kick to "The Oracle".

Definitely pre rag sponsorship.Rag!!
Apparently Ted belonged to one of the lady producers of the show, he wasn't anything to do with Bob Mortimer at all.View attachment 190802
Oh dear Ted has died - sometimes he was funnier than Bob & Paul - RIP and how wonderful that your years were surrounded by much love.
Bob and Pauls sidekick that fetched warmth and humour to the series. Very handsome animal for a patterdale and born and whelped from the Emerald isles.View attachment 190802

I defy anyone not to laugh when Richard Herring visited and Ted was dressed up in a dickie bow and tux.Bob and Pauls sidekick that fetched warmth and humour to the series. Very handsome animal for a patterdale and born and whelped from the Emerald isles.
One of our favourite shows, and not all about the fishing, with our indelible duo bouncing off their stories of lifes trials and tribulations.
Favourite segments were Bob doing his Robert De Niro impersonation "you will not marry that girl"
And Ted pretending to be an explosive expert. RIP lad. .. Sniff : (
I thought the show where Ted was a "Security Dog" ( I think it was a Christmas Show) was brilliant as well.I defy anyone not to laugh when Richard Herring visited and Ted was dressed up in a dickie bow and tux.
Apparently Ted is in one episode of the new series.

Hope he found his briefcase.
Nice episode last night, on the Trent near Newark.Old Ted, that's a shame. He'll live on through the voice Whitehouse gave him, it's sure to be used in future episodes and series.

It was very innovative, when it first appeared.
Ted also had the very good fortune to have been married to Jane Fonda for ten years.
