Very sad news for me personally as he and his family were neighbours and friends in his Corrie days, playing Ken Barlow's brother David. He used to take us down to the studios for watch rehearsals so got to meet most of the cast. He was the loveliest guy.

His son Toby worked for City for quite a few years and when I realised I asked to meet him, which they were going to arrange, but Covid then hit so we never got the meeting.

Fairly sure he lived near me in Reddish. Saw him in my doctors waiting room once

Dr Hook were a top notch band and ever so sad to hear of Dennis's passing at 75 young.

Two years younger than me. Terribly sad news.
I remember Scott as a brilliant centre, with his brother, Gavin, at full-back. They were both members of Scotland's last grand-slam winners in 1990.
