ticket prices for semi- final

Whereabouts are the restricted view seats? Didnt realise there were any at the new Wembley.

At the very back of the top tier. Maybe the TV screen obstructs the view a bit bit it won't be like the restricted views at Anfield where you struggle to see half the pitch

My guess is that even though we will likely sell out there will still be plenty of empty seats due to the 27,000 that are distributed not being taken up and of course it will be blamed on City fans....

You may we'll be right.

That's said. Arsenal and our combined allocation is over 66k. Wembley segregation usually limits semi final crowds to about 86k IIRC so about 20k left. The ten year debentures have largely ended at Wembley so they are selling 1 year season cards to fill in the gaps in Club Wembley / Neutral areas. I assume some Arse supporters will snap up quite a few of these tickets and my guess is it will be close to a full house.

I'm with you on this! The club lacks leadership and direction and it has since Gary Cook left. We don't hear a peep out of the Sheik or Khaldoon except his end of year address. The club is getting shafted by the officials on the field and social and mainstream media off it. We keep hearing we, the fan's have to do x y and z well how about someone at the club starting to do the same?
I said this about Sheikh Mansour needing to be more hands on pages back and got the response i was expecting, it's beneath him and leave it to his minions
I still say the same that's bollocks, he should move his arse and find out what is going on in this war that has been declared on us by the media

Is it easier to attack the press box at Wembley lol

The press we get is a disgrace it really is all one way the shithole in trafford had closed and empty teirs the qf but never a mention and the cameras do the best not to see up there they even switch the lights out up there! We're taking 32k plus possible nearer 33k to wembley for a semi on a sunday anyone who is a genuine football fan would be happy with that it's just keyboard warriors who's knowledge of football could be wrote on he back of a matchbox who would knock that. We will have a full end at Wembley and we'll be much louder than arsenal but I'm sure they'll try to knock us in some way all we gta do is win it and shove it right down there throats and laugh knowing they have to watch us lift the cup and congratulate us with a big lump in there throats come on blues let's get wembley rocking and give them all a big Fuck you. Blue army

There are no two seats together to be had from City. Singles only. Even for restricted view seats.

Again, I don't understand why the PR department of the club have just sat on their fat fucking porky arses and let the national press try to humiliate the loyal, long standing fans of this club.

It's about time someone at the club grew a pair of balls and came out and said something in defence of our fans. It's becoming a fucking joke now.
Well said
We never get any official back up from club.
C.T.I.D.

Had my nephew yesterday (Leeds fan), he does actually go to some games, going on about empty seats etc.

Was put right in his place, Leeds fan trying to take the piss YCNMIU.
Haha exactly they get 24 25k for midweek games now and gave done for a long time yet we get 50k plus and are shite as you said ycnmiu

Totally agree with you @paulchapo for all of Garry Cook's foot in mouth moments, no one could ever accuse him of not fighting the club's and the fan's corner. I don't think it's the Sheikh or Mansour's job to be dealing with the gutter-press though, mate. They're a bit above that. But it certainly should be within Sorriano's remit to make sure we have a solid PR strategy that engages fans and creates a positive image of the club.

I am sure in his performance review's Khaldoon will take note of the good work Sorriano has done commercially. Well I hope he also takes not of the disasterous work he has done in terms of fan engagement with the club, and wider PR strategy. We've gone backwards 20 years to the days of Swales on that front.

We used to get loads of press under Cook, not all of it positive, but we got a damn site more positive back then than we do now. City was a "story" back then. The sleeping giant awakening. The Noisy Neighbours out to ruin the party. The team that could outplay you at football and out fight you if that's what you wanted. Now the press don't really give a shit about us. Even with the biggest name manager in the world. They only bother to report on us if it's a story taking the piss out of our attendances, or our fan's lacklustre support!

Something has gone horribly wrong with our PR strategy over the last 4 years, it needs to be torn up and started again.

@manchester blue I don't think they even need to be City fans to get it. Garry Cook wasn't really a City fan, but he always stood up for the fans because he was proud to represent the club. He engaged with the fans so he was very well liked. If people criticised the fans or the club, he'd come out and defend us because he had the attitude that we had each other's back.

Sorriano has gone out of his way to completely disassociate himself from City fans. Drive as big a wedge between the fans and the club as he can. So he's detached from us. He probably doesn't feel we've got his back, so in turn he's not got ours. He's made a huge error in not engaging with the fans more. He's used to the culture of a Super-Club owned by it's members with all of the politics that are involved in that. City are rather different. We're a local, family club really - our match going fan base is in the main anyway. We want to feel involved. We want to get our view across and feel like we're being valued and listened to. A questionnaire a month devised by SAP isn't going to cut it I'm afraid.

Brilliant.

It's just a shame this can't be emailed to every employee at City, and to Sheikh Mansour.

The thing is, they know exactly what they are doing, regardless of where this direction from inside club is coming from. There are employees at City who probably agree with the above 100%, but they are probably too fearful of voicing their thoughts about this subject to the real power brokers and policy drivers in the boardroom, and in Abu Dhabi.

Sad, but nothing is going to change at City. The owner and directors have made their minds up. This is how the club is going to be run whether we, the fans, like it or not. That speech and promise by Khalddon when Sheikh Mansour bought the club is now a fading memory.

Just got 2 more tickets for mates who can go at last minute. Anyone know the arrangements for collecting tickets at Wembley? Apparently an email is on its way but not yet arrived.

OK i will put it another way, he should do more to find out what is going on, i'm damn sure if i owned a football club and it was getting savaged by that countrys media on a daily basis i would be making enquiries at the very least, don't forget it is also a lot of negatives towards the Sheikh as well, his minions are simply not up to the job
