Ticket Prices

was hoping to get a season ticket for me and my nephew at the end of last season until i realised that any cat A games aren’t included in the silver package. can understand the appeal to some but for me a season ticket is worthless unless you can go to every PL home game.

from the start of this season until now i’ve spent almost £300 on tickets and we’ve only managed to get to 3 games (one of them was a cup game) because i am continuously priced out. wanted to take him to the spurs game this evening but they wanted £120 for two tickets last time i checked.

it’s a disgrace. i’m round the corner and can get there easily and would love to go more often but just can’t justify the prices what with everything else costing a fortune.

£117 to go with my daughter. She is 5 ,and if I don't want to risk being told she cant come in on my ticket (which i'm not paying £70 for anyway), it is £47!!! £47 for anyone under 18, let alone a 5-6 year old is an absolute scandal.

Leicester are one of the best for staging kids prices.

Some other clubs advertise cheaper kids prices but severely limit them.

The prices there for under 12's should embarrass our club. I thought we used to have different pricing rather than just under 18, or is that just for season cards?

Hilarious that on the day we are once again top of the income league with £620M, the cheapest adult seat for tonight is £68. A seat which has been ‘exchanged’ for £39 is for sale at £70! The dent to city’s revenue by charging £30 is almost negligible and the rush to increase prices both season on season and during the season is scandalous. The media is full of the commercial power of the PL but it’d soon diminish with nobody attending. Shame is, like most things in life, we’re encouraged to have a sort of non-agreement pact with fans of other clubs. If ALL fans banded together to protest these outrageous prices, something would be done (look at the super league proposal). Trouble is ‘they’ all know we won’t and I’m expecting the first £100 non hospitality ticket for a city game within 5 years.

U18 for match day as well, it used to be U16 an 16/17 18/21 for STs, so it is better being under 18 as no rise at 16 for ST holders, now under 18 and 18/21.

When we moved into the stadium it was full adult prices at 16, however they gave a £50 discount if you were a student, but they didn't tell you about it. Still the same people involved now but promoted.

What's constant throughout this thread is the amount of City fans who desperately wanted to go tonight, some with their kids, but they've all confirmed they've been priced out of going tonight by the club.

I don't like naming individuals at the club as it isn't always their fault, but Danny Wilson has to take note of the amount of City fans who have been priced out of tonight's game. He has to speak to (Khaldoon when possible) and Soriano at the next Directors meeting about this. These tickets prices and price rises have to stop at some point or more and more City fans are going to be priced out of going to the games.

If you intend of going regularly it's still very much worthwhile and you can still buy the other games on an ad hoc basis. Tonight's game I've seen many people selling tickets around £30 apiece on here and Facebollocks. Which could even work out pro rata cheaper than a season ticket.
It's very poor these were only offered though and not as full season tickets as the seat is clearly available for those games and is just another revenue generator. They probably think if somebody is going to attend 14 games they'll buy the other games on top and is another subtle way of extracting more money.
