Ticket Prices

Ive just had my season ticket renewal invite for Joes East for next season and they are going up £220 which is a 6% increase. Thats an increase of £185 and nearly 10% in 12 months. In the current climate and after announcing record profits what a massive own goal this is.
That increase is totally unnecessary. The management of our club prove on a regular basis that they don't give a fuck about the fans. Under the present circumstances wouldn't the smart move be to freeze the prices. Get us fans onside and support both the team and the club together? But they know if you don't renew they can flog it on a match-by-match basis to a tourist and that is what they will do.

I think it’s pretty clear the club couldn’t care less about the fans. Pep wants an amazing atmosphere, yet at the same time we are pricing out the people that make it.

We need a proper supporters club or a group to stand up for our fans. We must be one of the worst in the league for price increases over the last 10 years.

This past week it was all about getting behind the team, but things like this put me off football.

I’d really hoped that this season the club would do something as a ‘thank you for sticking by us’ gesture - between the cost of living situation and the charges. I can’t help wondering if the creep upwards is the club trying to prove to the Premier League that we are being run ‘properly’, which in PL terms involves the fans getting a worse deal.

This. The club want the fans behind the team but the club are not behind the fans. You reap what you sow.

Could you edit this post - just for future reference as there is almost 100% mistake

Works out £25 for me in the middle of SS3, so 'only' just over another quid a game....with all the timewasting & anti football we see (I'll not go on about us coasting many games in the second half) our tickets must be the dearest in the league per minute of actual football.
But, of course, City will get away with it and we'll, well nearly all, still pay up.
