Hypothetically yes, except there is no evidence that they exist, there is a theory as there was for black holes, unlike Black holes that we have found. But yes they may exist.
 
I keep reading that the laws of physics govern everything and they inhibit the prospect of aliens ever going faster than the speed of light.
Yet the laws of physics are defied in our very own solar system by the sun. The fact the corona is hotter than the surface of the sun shows that the laws of physics are not universal.
If one part of physics can be defied, why can't every part?
 
I have a question or two that is train of thought (and, probably, errored but I can't shake the questions); what is 'space'? What are the elements that make up 'space'? Is 'space' measurable to study today? If we are part of 'space' why is our molecular design different or is it?

And, finally, if 'space' is part of everything through and around us, surely the mathematical conclusion means we and light are part of the same universal structure (everything comes from the 'Big Bang' right?) so, therefore, shouldn't we be able to travel, at minimum, the speed of light with the right equations?

Humour me, if you will...

Great isn’t it? More than a few on here, myself included, have highlighted the fact that just because our theories are what we know, doesn’t mean it’s the same everywhere else. I think it’s very narrow minded and naive to think so.

ET could come down, listen to our theories and just laugh at us. That’s why we are babies though.

Lights on a spacecraft may be some form of propulsion. However there may be some other reason yet to be concluded.

Usually light used for propulsion would normally not be light from a craft it would be used from another source directed at the craft, and maybe why it is popular to believe that spacecraft are reflective/metallic so it can reflect light and help propel the craft.

Light can also be used as energy to move something so I hear. Blue light has a stronger energy to do this than red light and emits radiation. It’s about as much as I know though.

The three lights bother me and are more than likely terrestrial phenomena such as aircraft development.
If they were alien craft they would need to harness the energy of the sun to buzz about the galaxy I think or something we haven’t thought of yet certainly rocket fuel isn’t going to do it

It’s all very interesting and I need to read this full thread to see what has been posted. I am really into the UAP phenomena, but the Universe theories leave me struggling to get my head around. I don’t mind a good debate but find it hard to debate something I know little about so happy to read what others are debating. Despite finding myself frustrated with opinions of BlueParrot and Magicpole I still appreciate their views as without them there is less to debate and discuss and I am learning from them through the discussion they generate along with others like you.

Big thumbs up from me for all the contributors on this thread. Usually I am just discussing football as ‘off topic’ is not a forum I tend to use.
 
I’ve seen Facebook videos suggesting these are actually angels and it’s a sign the apocalypse is happening in 2025….
 
Is this proof of a wormhole? There are 2 different videos.

For context there are anomalies happening above the triangle on the ranch at Skinwalker in Utah at a height of about 400 ft. They haven’t been able to physically see it with their own eyes what the phenomena is.

I’ve watched some of the Skinwalker and like you don’t know what to think Ancoats and I were debating it. Travis was discovered to have worked at the Pentagon, and we came to the conclusion the show would be pulled if they did get near what’s going on inside the mountain/macer. Or what’s buried deep to create the vortex.
It’s harmless entertainment that’s been running 4 years a bit like Oak island 7years looking for treasure.

Talking of harmless entertainment back when I was 10 a few decades ago I was on holiday at a Pontins campsite and there was a competition for dressing up. I was going to dress up with my sister and her friend as Aliens. So they started with me first ( I wonder why - gullible or what) wrapping me in tin foil. I think we used all the tin foil so I the end there wasn’t any left for my sister and her friend and I was skinny. I even had a tin foil hat. Anyway the competiton was sponsored by the milk board so they decided instead of going as an alien gave me 2 milk cartons to hold and I would tell the judges I was a space milkman. Came 2nd.

And here I am on a UFO thread and already having claim to wearing a tinfoil hat. Some things you just can’t make up!

Defining the rules of gravity did not abolish the archemedis principle. The electromagnetic wave did not end the sound wave. Discovering the atom did not eradicate the concept of matter, and the higgs boson particle did not remove the nucleus from existence. And similarly, the theory of relativity did not scrap any of the above. Yeah ok the discovery and redefining of planetoids kind of fucked it for Pluto, but whatever meaningful new level of understanding comes next, doesn't have to invalidate the theory of relativity either.

A couple on here might as well inscribe e=mc2 onto a stone tablet and start the church of relativity and just call an end to further development or research.

What do you think? I read of a recent discovery of a particle that was proved to go faster than the speed of light

I agree with you, btw. The arrogance that we understand the universal laws of physics based on our hugely limited experience is exactly the same as people 100, 200, 300 years ago thinking they had explained everything from their own even more limited understanding. People in 100 years will be looking back on the people who think that in the same way we look back on the Victorians and earlier generations who thought it.

We don't even know for sure why the universe is what it is, how old it is, what constitutes 95% of it, yet without this incredibly basic, fundamental knowledge, we can say which laws govern it? Don't believe it for a second. The end of science my arse.

Were those the Gran Sasso experiments in Italy? I think they were later debunked..
