yeah that's just shite & more g14 protectionism. personally it should be limited at top 3 plus winners of the 3 uefa cups but I also hate seeding in the group stages even though it massively benefits us.

Ten years of financial regulations has been shown to be a complete disaster. Football coped quite well for the previous 120 years without any. Clubs are businesses and should stand or fall on their own decisions.
Correct since ffp through the English leagues more clubs have gone bust more clubs have been in trouble now look at Wigan another club that are in big trouble! All to to keep those red teams at the top kunts the lot of them..

dont like the new CL format where English 5th will qualify as long as english clubs collectively top the yearly coeff points ratings.
meaning Arse, Pool, rags can finish 5th and on the back of a great CL run from City they can get into CL in the future.
Agree but all these new rules will benefit us as well in the future because as city fan we know this cycle of football will end one day! Yep we will still compete just because the way we are run but we want be doing 5 in 6 premiers..

So what happened to the scaling back spending (incl wages) from 90% down to 70% of turnover in two years?%There was reports last night that the premier are going to introduce a wage cap and it will go of what the bottom team in the premier league turn over is times four! So most teams being bottom of the league with the money in the premier it be well over 100m so the annual wage cap be capped at around 400m.
Either way, even if that is currently a high ceiling, it still equates to protectionism of the top, completely unfair to the teams trying to break in and no doubt intended to stop us in the first place, ironic that they are too late for that and that we would now benefit, but harsh on the likes of Newcastle, Brighton and even Villa (despite their high percentage of lowlife support).

It looks like we get 12 points for the win, and points are 8 after 5 years and 4 before 1993. 3, 2 and 1 for CWC/Uefa.
City have always benefited from the National Association co-efficient which gives the teams for the bigger countries a leg up especially if they have been out of European comps for a while, so it is hard to complain too much.
