Don't know what it does to their new project if they fail to scrape top four. You get the feeling it'll be hard to displace Newcastle once CL money comes in, and Liverpool can't stay shit forever (alas). At some point if ETH can't do the job and get them in the top four by the end of next season then they'll have to replace him and then they're back to square one.

I'm actually rooting for the dippers now. They are not going to win the league but they must think they can overtake the likes of rags, chavs and spuds given the form. If those clubs end up scrapping over 4th then that is great for us.

City, Arsenal, Newcastle and Spurs in the top four would be hilarious. United, Chelsea and Liverpool would be fucked in different ways. Truth be told I wouldn't want to make a predicition, I don't think any team is playing that well at the moment and any team that can put a run of three or four games together look like they're challenging for Europe. But like you say if they can all be taking points off one another then it bodes well for us.
