Very risky business this blues we could be out ov 3 comps come jan and everybody will blame it on this. I also think city fans will show there frustration with there feet can't see many sell outs this season and defo non in the champs lge. Just hope someone within the club comes out and explains the reasons for it!
Because we sell Negredo the Etihad will be empty because of that? Jesus, talk about flap. I flapped too but not this bad.

Haha maybe I am but the way I see it is we've struggled with the 2 games so far and with our better player's leaving and not being replaced the fans are not gonna pay the extra money we're asking for!

If there is a £20+ million obligatory clause in the loan deal then I think its a great deal for the club.

It doesn't really matter whether we get a replacement this window as we could always switch to a 4-2-3-1 formation like we played under Mancini. Personally I think that would be our strongest formation which will allow us to accommodate Fern, Nando and Yaya.

If we can end the window with a net spend of below £10 million considering the players we have brought in then it will be a fantastic window. Next summer is when we can really take the shackles off and no team will be able to outbid us for our targets.

Its the same every summer in that genuine world class talent becomes available. This season it was Di Maria and the season before was Ozil. Next season will be no different and when Reus or whoever is after a new challenge, we will be able to go balls deep after them. Where as the likes of Arsenal and United will still be feeling the effects of spending fortunes on the likes of Mata and Ozil and not getting the expected return from them.

Just responding to say I'm with you. Seems like the consensus is that our executives have lost their minds and this is a dark day in City's history. If Richards & Nasty find last-minute homes we're going to finish this summer with a transfer profit. And if you look at our 22 players I can't see how it's not a stronger squad, better suited to fight on all fronts, than last season's (even with Negredo's exit). And the reality of FFP is that every penny saved is a penny that can go toward someone like Reus in another window. If we're that screwed in January -- without the one month of football that Negredo would've been able to play, coming back from injury -- then we go out and plug the hole. I just don't see this as the sky falling, like some others have taken to viewing it.

I bet everyone at City is very disappointed, but it's a long game.

The consolation is that Falcao takes £346k per week out of Man Utd, and not only that they've had to let Welbeck go as well.

Been offline for a bit, where's this £346k come from?
That's his wages http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ted-pay-24-million-for-season-long-loan.html

I don't understand why this is happening... I don't consider myself a flapper but this seems like a disaster to me.

Maybe they all suffered a blow on the head and completely forgot Aguero and Jovetic's awful injury records.

Win the league-You strengthen. I thought we had with the incomings but this to me is such a risky strategy.
If Kun,Jov or Edin pick up a knock then we are expecting 2 to play every game considering we are looking at 2-3 games per week until 2 yr?
I'm not sure the club has got this right. If Negredo wants out then so be it but why no David Villa for example???

Very confused by all this.

Stupid comment even by my standards

Can't play the European games (he was the one being dropped) and he wanted to go And injured

The window opens less than 12 weeks after he would be able to play

Its stupid to not replace him not sell him lets see how many sell outs we've had by jan 4/5 tops!

Heard that Negredo to Valencia is almost done - now it's a race to get it completed before midnight.

Shite business.

Started the day thinking we're gonna strengthen not weaken!

We've gone from thinking we are buying Falcao to losing a key player and not even replacing him. Only at fucking City.

how the fuck is he a key player???? dzeko aguero and jovetic are all ahead of him ...good player for us yes key?? no way not even close

I wouldn't really have Villa, considering we would have to leave someone off the CL list and have a really pissed off player probably asking for a transfer in January. If we are getting anyone in the foreign quota he has to be top class.

And you forget Negredo is the player injured at the moment and ineligible for Europe (at our choice admittedly).

It's a tough call, but if he wants to go, and Valencia pay his worth then it can be good in the long run
