Very risky business this blues we could be out ov 3 comps come jan and everybody will blame it on this. I also think city fans will show there frustration with there feet can't see many sell outs this season and defo non in the champs lge. Just hope someone within the club comes out and explains the reasons for it!
Stupid comment even by my standards

Can't play the European games (he was the one being dropped) and he wanted to go And injured

The window opens less than 12 weeks after he would be able to play

Its stupid to not replace him not sell him lets see how many sell outs we've had by jan 4/5 tops!

You've posted some shite today....but at least you've stopped double posting shite!

And why Negredo wants to go to midtable club like Valencia? Some are saying here that he is probably pissed off due to left out of CL squad. Well Valencia isn't in Champions League. So he wouldn't get CL football there either. Maybe he is just home sick. Well he is 29 anyways so atleast reduces our average age if something positive.

I've not heard anyone say he's pissed off, just that his family failed to settle in the UK so they want back to Spain.

Of course he's a key player.A top club needs four top strikers, take one away and we are severely weakened and will not be able to compete as we should.

I'm sure you'll be thinking the same when Serg's hamstring goes again or Jovetic mysteriously breaks down.....

Great deal if he goes with a 25 Euro agreed fee.

We can play with one up top if needed and have three. Plus we can go again in Jan with over 40M to spend.

STOP FLAPPING STOP FLAPPING STOP FLAPPING STOP FLAPPING
I fucking wish people would stop using the new Bluemoon buzzwords "flap" and "flapping". They're shite!

Almost no posters aren flapping, just the odd ones. Most have made reasonable posts on this subject.

Shite business.

Started the day thinking we're gonna strengthen not weaken!

We've gone from thinking we are buying Falcao to losing a key player and not even replacing him. Only at fucking City.

how the fuck is he a key player???? dzeko aguero and jovetic are all ahead of him ...good player for us yes key?? no way not even close

He is a key player because (as has been said a million times) Aguero and Jovetic's recent injury records are awful and we play two up front.

Win the league-You strengthen. I thought we had with the incomings but this to me is such a risky strategy.
If Kun,Jov or Edin pick up a knock then we are expecting 2 to play every game considering we are looking at 2-3 games per week until 2 yr?
I'm not sure the club has got this right. If Negredo wants out then so be it but why no David Villa for example???

Very confused by all this.

Nail on the head. Never mind the 20 mill income is good for us, this could be a write off if aguero and jovetic go down. One way you could look at it is that it could make use 4-5-1 option more.

until two of fernando, fernanndinho, and Yaya get injured. Not counting lampard, we are also short of depth in CM

The only other spin I can put on this is that Negredo is out of action until January ala Giroud and we have someone lined up to replace the goals that we will miss from Negredo and yaya while he Aconiing it in January.

Wouldn't be the first time a club takes on a player with a broken foot when undertaking a medical but really given that Valencia are not going to give him chumps league football anyway I see no value for us in loaning him out now.

Revisit it in January if his wife still can't get used to Manchester weather (LOL).

We've basically gone from having a 10/10 strike force compared to United's 6/10 strike force to both having an 8/10 strike force in one day. Aguero is more talented than Falcao, but Falcao scores for fun. Jovetic/Dzeko vs. Van Persie/Rooney, not much between them I guess. Well done City.
Undeniably we have gone backwards, but sometimes you have to take a backwards step to go forwards.

Even if there were no UEFA sanctions I would not pay Falcao £346k pw unless I knew he had fully recovered from his knee op and even then?

And he scored 23 goals for us. That is 23 goals we have just lost from the team and not being replaced.

We can play with 1 up front now but we don't likewise we haven't since Mancini left.

Not flapping but don't understand letting a good CF go with no replacement
