Was Stones offside? One quick review what's all that about?
It's called a cover up, a cover up for corruption. Was Stones offside? One quick review what's all that about?
Agree about hearing the officials conversations. However its worse than that. Offside is always shown. Even if its for the Bamford offside which was just his sleeve offside. Unless its for us and they need to find a reason to disallow a goal. Then all of a sudden it just doesn't appear. The offside was very fishy. If there was some transparency and we could hear the conversations we could put some of this to bed. You know, like you can in every other sport. But not football. Wonder why?
Like to see that hammer blue cnt on here telling us it has prevented diving andd cut out mistakes. I really hate that fckr for supporting the thing that has killed the game for me. Mind you, half of Blue Moon seems to be up his arse, so what do I know....?
4-1 todayIs that abuse really necessary?
would you call someone face to face that just because they have a different opinion?
Are you only happy if everyone on a forum just shouts in a echo chamber of ‘fuck VAR’ ‘it’s killing the game’ ‘corrupt bullshit, I’m never watching again ‘ Is that the only opinions allowed or you get called a c*nt.
I’ve gave perfectly reasonable and honest views on VAR and have stated countless times I’m not a ‘lover’ of it and it’s far from perfect over and over again. But I do stick by that I don’t want refs making blind decisions and if they can get help in seeing decisions they missed then that makes a lot of sense.
Mike dean is rightly getting absolute pelters by everyone - because he is getting decisions wrong despite having the chances of watching replays of the incident, I’d much rather that then the fact he could have hid behind the fact that’s what he saw in a split second.
It’s not VAR that got the decisions incorrect, it’s the crap refs that still deem it to be red despite seeing the replays.
YouGov poll :
- 8 per cent want to keep using VAR as it is used now.
- 74 per cent say keep using VAR, but change the ways it is used.
- 15 per cent want to stop using VAR entirely
I’m in the 74% and you’re in the 15% , you must hate a lot of people supporting this ‘killing of the game’ anyhow , I’m sure you still think what I deem as a fairly balanced view means I’m some FA fan boy c*nt or something.
hey ho and well done stuffing the reds earlier.

either way I try and give a honest and balanced view and happy to debate with anyone in a nice manner, never take it personal. It’s probably why half the forum is ‘up my arse’
but guess you still think I’m some FA fan boy c*nt or something.

Love to see the figures for match going fans v TV viewersOver half of fans surveyed by YouGov thought it had “done badly” with nearly 2/3rds saying it made the game less enjoyable

Yes me too. 4800 people polled. They had to have watched regularly either on TV or in a ground. Would be good to see future iterations of the poll split the 2 out.Love to see the figures for match going fans v TV viewers
Dubious offside with no evidence of a check (yet again at Klansnfeild)
Yes I would tell anyone face to face.
Would you keep spouting such crap face to face?
Has it cut out diving as you said it would?
One of our greatest results today and I didn't celebrate a single goal in the way I used to thanks to you and your kind.
If VAR doesn’t improve and Dean et al continue to make terrible calls I presume you will join the call for it to be scrapped? Are you not more Angry at Man City and Pep Guardiola for voting in favour for VAR to the PL ? Is Pep a c*nt for wanting it ?
what have I actually done wrong. I don’t work for FIFA or the FA and have never had a say whether or not it can be introduced, I’m just someone on a forum that try’s to have a balanced debate about VAR without resorting to pathetic abuse.
to answer your point. On diving. I think clear dives with zero contact has dramatically decreased, loads in fact. There has been a few given this season and that Martial one is farcical, I’m not going to defend that at all. That’s not on me neither all the future controversy that will always happen. I would love a system in place that can eradicate diving all together - I don’t think it’s possible as so much of it is based on perception and it’s why you have so many pundits and fans argue whether it is or not.
if there was no VAR and a ref gives a penalty for a blatant dive , should I get angry and abusive at you and say ‘if we had VAR a ref wouldn’t have given the penalty’ . It works both ways.
No system is ever going to be perfect. So you can live in a world of anger and moan and moan at every decision or you can try and embrace change and give a balanced perspective of what can improve.
An improvement for me would be to put Mason + Dean on trial to answer for there ridiculous decisions of late ! Even aided by the help of clear replays they come to those conclusions.
I totally understand the frustration and concerns of VAR, I’m not a massive fan or advocate and it does take something out the game. Why I have to repeat this over and over I’m not sure.
but I don’t want it scraped. I don’t want refs making blind decisions and getting far more ludicrous decisions incorrect. Sorry I have that view and that makes me a c*nt.
VAR is being used all over the world now, it seems to be progressing in other countries and has it reduced attendances and the love of the game ? For you it has which is a shame. For many others it hasn’t at all.
but I agree with the vast majority outside of this forum that law changes to the game and better officiating can make VAR really improve the game. Ultimately that’s what most want.
Can’t disagree, I hate VAR, but our game is that corrupt in a perverse way I’d hate it to be scrapped now, imagine how much more these bent refs will get away with, and then hide behind the old it’s a hard job, got to admire them blah blah blah. This season has highlighted how shit they are, even if it hasn’t delivered real time decisions. I bet they rue the day it was agreed to now,Are you not more Angry at Man City and Pep Guardiola for voting in favour for VAR to the PL ? Is Pep a c*nt for wanting it ?

Can I have some of your meds please.I’ll happily see it scrapped now to be honest, the constant moaning and ‘it’s killing the game’ is tedious- just deep down I’d prefer some sort of system in place for a Ref to have a chance to see if he’s implemented the right decision and not been forced into making a split second choice.
what would you prefer -
A) Salah does a ridiculous dive with no contact - the refs angle and speed. It looks a penalty. He gives the penalty.
or
B) Salah does a ridiculous dive with no contact - the refs angle and speed. It looks a penalty. He gives the penalty. Had a quick look on monitor, realises he made the wrong choice and reverses the decision.
...
