It isn't. We can't complain the decisions
It was last night, we can
It isn't. We can't complain the decisions
The Aguero goal gets ruled out by VAR at ANY GROUND IN WORLD FOOTBALL. Get a grip.
It’s clearly offside and isn’t subjective.
Is it not more likely that BT send the footage for review to adjudicators and they send that to the refs screen. Meaning it was still BT choosing the angles?
I hope everyone who wanted VAR in is happy. No VAR. we win that amazing game with an unbelievable last min goal.
Has anyone seen the official VAR offside picture? Can’t see it posted? Watching on BEIN sports I found it odd that they showed this for the dippers first goal at halftime to show Mane was onside, all the Aguero ones were just freeze frames with no lines. Seemed such a tight call considering Aguero was coming away from goal
Even if he had been shown that angle confirming it hit his hand first, would he have given it as handball? By the laws of the game is that hand ball?
Officialdom incompetence pure and simple , many camera angles to look at all of which must be made available to the VAR ref.
No more should we see a ref have to look at a replay that shows very little of what actually happened , leave it up to VAR.
Take a leaf out of cricket or NFL FFS , this incident and many others should make it obvious why the decision should be taken out of the hands of the person officiating the game.
No idea. However, the fact that nobody seems to know the answer is concern enough for me. Let's say, for the purposes of this discussion, that there are twenty camera angles of the game, well the viewer (in the ground or elsewhere) should know that there are that many angles and that they have all been taken into consideration when making a decision. Last night, UEFA dropped one, and no club, not even Spurs, should shrug that off with 'it is what it is', as it will only happen again.
