Been saying it isn't fit for purpose since day one, although Martin Samuels probably put it better that I could.

Its biggest flaw is that certain most decisions are open to interpretation and because the process is not transparent it could be open to influence from TV companies and others linked in to the Stockley Park feed. This leaves it WIDE OPEN to corruption.
Obviously why the new offside rule was brought in.

2 daft mm offside decisions in the Fulham and palace games
Thicker offside lines and offside rule adjustments have been in place since last season. I like these rules.

For me, though, the trouble is that offside rulings aren't real time. Often a goal is scored and the crowd tentatively claps - thinking that offside may be called. Whether or not offside is called - this ruins the atmosphere. AI should be used to call offsides in real time - immediately. So if a goal is scored, it's a goal. No more holding back emotion - fearing that a belated offside ruling may disallow the goal.

Have refs been told to keep it 11v11 at all costs unless it’s an obvious red. How a two footed lunge at someone’s knee nowhere near the ball isn’t a red is beyond comprehension. Let’s hear the full transcript please.

The answer to your question is yes. Milner last season proved it. Sky want end to end 90 minutes of action, they dictate the rules.

Don't you go upsetting the agenda duo
Good point, one will be along in a minute to tell us some shite supposed fact and how it is better for the game.
That challenge was a season ending/career ending challenge, Strawberry Kev was lucky. Like the Sane one v Cardiff, other teams can do our players. Total joke.

If that fucking spanner comes on gobbing off about VAR it will prove mine and many others point. He is here to Spam
2 feet off the ground above knee high and yet var told the ref not to give a red. Bent.
2 footed? Incorrect.

Tackling in the air isn’t against the laws of the game.

And along comes one of them.
'Tackling in the air isn't against the laws of the game'
How about 2 feet off the ground, not in control, above knee high, but yeh your right VAR were right to ORDER the ref to change his mind.

Edit: and where did I say 2 footed ? Typical VAR wummery changed what a poster states.

Easy to hook though :)
