Vieira - Medical today

Pretty happy with this if i'm honest, he's a winner and not really over the hill is he? could be our Makalele really couldn't he?

And with the obvious talent we have, he's not gonna play if he's crap is he?
 
Great signing for me, more height to the midfield and a member of the arsenal 'invincible' squad, top footballing brain, knows the league and the country inside out, not the player he once was but still got the quality, i believe he will be alright, i believe in Mancini.
 
I think Mancini wants a 4-3-1-2 as default.

Three defensive midfielder and one central creator.

One striker will play wide as a winger.

Vieira will command the defense, De Jong the sweeper/tackler and Barry the connector between defense and attack.

Petrov and Ireland will share the central attacking midfielder role.

Upfront it will be Tevez + Robinho/Bellamy/Philips/Cruz depending on the situation. No wonder why he doesn't aim at a striker signing.

I must say this formation is more balanced than 4-3-3. If you have possession and attack well, three attacking-minded players are enough.

That sounds like a brill formation for the players we have and sure they could adapt as it is not much different from 433 and with the 3 in the middle Viera, De Jong and Barry we will have the best midfield 3 in my opinion
 
on the home page of this site it says we are getting him on loan after he was released by inter milan? who are we loaning him from then?
And please can we not sing: viera woah woah, viera woah woah, he come from italy to play for man city...just please dont do it

you know the chant the scum sing about him? ''he gave giggsy the ball, and arsenal win fuck all, viera wooooah'

well it got me thinking, second leg at OT in the last 2 minutes, shrek gives viera the ball and we score off it, theres a song straight away for mout patrick! haha
 
dosent take a genius to work out why we are signing Vieira, hes been bought to keep his french team mate Ribery happy when he signs next week.

Now that would be a fookin master stroke - unfortunately i think Ribery is off to Real in the summer

there was rumours of him having talks with bayern over a new 4 year deal.

Maybe but i was listening to a radio programme that had a german football reporter (equivalent of that spanish guy) who seemed pretty certain this was the deal - either way cant see him coming here

No mate, i said ealier,a friend is a photographer and she does alot of city stuff that you would have seen in the tabloids over here.New signings ,lot's of training stuff,shit like that.She's outside waiting for him,keeping me informed.
