Why we will win the league!

Both teams winning both their games isn't interesting though. Only us dropping points makes it interesting
Actually I'ld find them dropping points tomorrow interesting with the added advantage of finding Monday's game then being more relaxing and enjoyable.

It still wouldn't be relaxing or enjoyable unless we were 3 up early doors!

Fair enough. As someone else mentioned, money will be the reason for the playoff game, coupled with the fact it's never got to 'goals scored' yet, never mind a playoff/head to head decision

It's a terrible, terrible money-making scheme, though, given it's never happened and the season where it was an outside possibility they booked Wembley only for it not to be used.

It'll just be some arbitrary decision that no one ever expected to have to use.

We’ve come through our (on paper) difficult and congested period and now our task is as straightforward as anyone could have asked for - best Leicester and Brighton and we are champions. Liverpool’s is much more difficult, win 2 games either side of competing with Barcelona and hope City don’t win both.

I know which position I’d rather be in

Spot on. Leicester are an attacking team. Not a team to sit back and defend. They might have chances but so will we and it will be a case of defending well to their counter and taking our opportunities. And if Brighton are safe on the last day they will be less likely to park the bus but will otherwise present a tough team to breakdown.

Liverpool have two tough league games. Newcastle will defend solidly and play on the counter and Wolves will go toe to toe with them. I would rather our fixtures than theirs, even ignoring the Barcelona games they have to play.

But anything can happen and positively we are just getting on with our job. No silly mind games like Klopp.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo saying that he will hopefully give minutes to his backup goalie, Will Norris, in the final two games of their season. Consistent with the rest of Liverpool's season, he'll probably chuck one into his own net

They only people who are talking up potential banana skins are Liverpool fans and the football media in this country, who have supported Liverpool from day one.

Not a word is being uttered about Newcastle away and Wolves at home for Liverpool.

If City had those two remaining games left, and Liverpool had Leicester at home and Brighton away, Liverpool fans and the Football Media would be celebrating a Liverpool title in public by now.

Let’s get some perspective, ah!

They, Liverpool fans and the football media are doing their best to get into our heads, and to convince us that our last 2 games aren’t winnable, whilst Liverpool will win both of their remaining harder games, in-between Barcelona.

Some of our fans may think that, but thankfully the vast majority of our fans, the players, and Pep don’t.
That's some world class paranoia there, fella!

I haven't heard a single person in the football media who doesn't make us overwhelming favourites. The mood music from the Liverpool supporting pundits has changed to "It's been a great season wherever we finish" whereas even a few weeks ago it was "This could be our year"

The all say we are favorites but it comes with a “but”. But united won’t we easy but burnley won’t be easy but Leicester won’t be easy. And Liverpool May as well of played their last game weeks ago and finished the season on 97 points

The Liverpool pundits in the media are talking up their season regardless of where they finish. They’ll keep that mantra up no matter what the results are over the weekend.

Having said that if they win tomorrow they’ll get very giddy again and Leicester and Rodgers will hit messianic heights by kick off on Monday.
