Why we will win the league!

I know we are going to win the league snap up all the good prices now. We’re nearing the arse twitching time and no body’s arse twitches like the dippers they will definitely not pick up maximum points at the swamp and Goodson. We will not lose another game now I feel it so strongly, believe have faith we fight till the end.

And So does Jet Li
That’s not Jet Li you idiot!

That’s Jackie Chan.

24 games gone ... 14 still to go ... that’s almost 37% of the season still remaining ... that’s more than 1/3rd of games still to be played ...

Be positive people ... we all saw on TV the negative energy the Anfield crowd was carrying and how it got transferred to thier players last night ... so much so that even Van Dyk mentioned it in his post match interview ... and I strongly feel they’re primed for bottling it up, their own history suggests that, their fans know it and their manager has his own bottle-job history!

What we need is the positive energy just like we transferred onto our players at Etihad when we played that lot at the start of January ... so bring that on every home game and as I said at the start ... let’s do this!
Did he mention the crowd?
Hahah is love them to bottle it and then blame the fans, that’d be genius

Van Dijk's comments:

Asked if he felt that there was an element of nervousness in the crowd, Van Dijk said: “It sounded like it.

“It didn't transmit to me and I don't think it did to my team-mates, but obviously you get that feeling as well from the crowd and I think it’s not really necessary at the moment.

“But obviously everyone wants to win so bad and that’s what we want as well but sometimes you need to be very patient.

“In the end it’s all about showing on the pitch and we’re not going to be affected by that.

“We want everyone to cheer us on and keep pushing even if we have tough moments, even if we’re 1-0 down or maybe more. We just need everyone to pull in the same direction and keep going, that’s the only way forward.”

And apparently Klopp had to turn around to the crowd behind him (in first half itself) and gesture them to calm down as the oooohs, aaaaahs and groans were growing at every missed pass ...

With more than 1/3 games remaining, this is all heading towards a major wreck ... (for them ;)

The crowd is a huge factor. Liverpool fans are nervous. You could sense that in their game on Wednesday. We are used to chasing and it seems to get more out of us as fans when we are underdogs. The games we have lost this season at home we expected to breeze - Lyon, Palace for example and the crowd was a bit more flat. Against Liverpool we were rocking and the players stepped up. Arsenal and Chelsea have their weaknesses and with our crowd up for it we should beat them. Everton away is unpredictable but their fans will be happy to lose that game this season. They're already sick of the Liverpool fans and their chat and they've not even won it yet!

This week is vital. Win all three and it is game on. Drop any points and Liverpool have the breathing room to go into games slightly more comfortable. Looking at the run in, whilst everyone points to games against the top 6, the relegation sides get that little bit extra out of their performances and combined with some title nerves can get results. They have some tricky games ahead against relegation sides and whilst we are used to the combative park the bus tactic, I don't think many teams have really implemented it well against the dippers.

Wolves had chances they fluffed, so did Brighton. Palace made defensive errors as did Everton. Anyone of those games could have gone differently. Meanwhile Townsend and Perreira score screamers against City that cost us at least 2pts. Klopp is clearly frustrated by every bad call and that will affect his squad. We just take the loss and crack on.

The DT reports this morning that Virgil is pleading with the fans not to panic! Don't panic, Kapitan Klopp, don't panic. They are shitting themselves!

I'm loving this! It says a lot that the word 'panic' is even being mentioned. They are 5 points clear and have a very good team. 'Panic' is the last emotion they should be feeling. Virgil is doing nobody any favours with this comment.

We were the ones that were predicting a bottle-job, now it seems they might actually be expecting it.

Happy days.

Fucking hell! If I was a Liverpool fan him saying that would make me panic more

The Dipper fans are getting very nervous and I think the pressure will ramp up as long as we get our act together and improve our league form and put a winning run together.

Was listening to the Leicester game on the radio and their fans as usual were appealing for everything, just wait until March there will be a lot of soiled underwear in Merseyside.

We have lost four if our last seven league games , three of these to struggling or mid-table teams , it doesnt fill you with confidence ,no team can contemplate winning a quadruple or even a treble in the modern game and as much as we can decry the Dippers for throwing two cup competitions it is likely they could play a dozen less games than us this season, that is a hell of an advantage. Pep going for every game is commendable and is what supporters want but the reality is we could miss out on everything due to the amount of games , personally if i was giving a choice of winning just one trophy it would be the Premier league title , the FA Cup and League Cup are nice trinkets but great sides are not judged on them as for the Champs league this maybe the holy grail for the G14 'istree clubs and Sheik Mansour's ultimate target ,but the only reason i would like to win that trophy is to stick two fingers up to UEFA , otherwise its an over hyped , glorified UEFA advertisement campaign, that stinks of favouritism towards "established" football clubs.

Just don’t see City winning the league, should never lose to Palace and Newcastle when going 1-0 up especially with the squad we have
