Having watched virtually every game he's played for us I can confirm your getting a superb goal scorer but not just that his defending at corners free kicks etc has saved us plenty hope he does the same for you apart from when you play us obviously.
Anyway now he's with you good luck and I hope you win the league before today I did not careless who won it,can't wait to watch him in the champions league.
Ps if you have any spare full backs who you want to loan send them down the Liberty:-)
Hi fella just a couple of questions:
1. How good is Bony? Could he be world class?
2. Do you think he's good enough to lead the line of a title winning side?
3. What are the strongest parts to his game?

Appreciate if you can answer mate :)

Sounds like Yaya happy with the move for Bony....

Manchester City have agreed a fee with Swansea for Wilfried Bony "close to £30m", according to the Mail. They report the initial fee as "in excess of £25m, with further add-ons built into the deal".

Yaya Toure has apparently backed the signing of the Ivorian striker. The Sun quote him as saying: "If you want to be at the top of the Premier League you need to sign the top players and Bony is one of them at the moment."

So will we go back to a 4-4-2 then? Whats everyones first 11 with everyone fit?

4-4-2 isn't a bad system if you have the right personel. Won us a pair of cups last season.

Good response to the rag 'on-message' twerp. Micky , "I'm English, honest" (bradwr) Owen... who doesn't rate him...

Well let's see Micky... your opinion .. or Manuel's.. ???

I know who i'd prefer making the signings

1.Although I am biased there is no CfF in the premiership I would swap him for if he was still our player.
2.I know not many like a 442 these days but if he played alongside a fully fit aguero it would be something else it he could lead the line on his own in away champions league games if needed I should think.
3. His strength and power,he will resemble yaha toure the way he holds players off.he also gets great height on his leap when going to header.

He's also a real nice guy,he spent the 1st 6 months down here in the Marriott hotel and all the staff loved him saying he was a total gentleman and down to earth.

Very sporting of you.

We could let you have Kolarov...

Just being a realist a special player like Bony is always going to want to play for a team that are going to win cups and who are we to stand in his way,we've benefited hugely financially from you which should set us up for the next couple of years and hopefully keep us in the premiership.
Is Kolarov really that bad? Some swans fans were hoping for a player and cash deal with him and bony although we would not have been able to pay his sort of wages.

It's a bit harsh on Kolarov I think. He's been badly off form the last few games but before that was doing well for us. It wasn't that long ago that Clichy was stinking the place out and people wanted him out of the door but he's improved greatly of late.

I'm happy with Bony - always looks good against us and in the few other games I've seen him in.

Good luck for the rest of the season mate.

He's not the best defender and seems to a bit demotivated and lazy this season and he would be no good for you, we do however have a couple of good young Spanish fullbacks but I'm not sure there quite ready for the prem, but when they are you would be a great loan for there development.

Very pleased with this signing,it's ironic we need more muscle upfront and we sign a Bony player !
He will give us another option in attack and could be the key player to unlock tight defences during the second half of the season.

pity he isnt here for the chelsea game, we could fuck them up a bit more than what we're going to do

Typical we get Everton, the arse and rent boys in the Acon month. Back to the agenda thread i think.

Cheers for that.

Haven't really been keeping up with this. Just rumors or is there potential for a deal?

Where have you been lol.

I'd say its pretty much nailed on as we've agreed a fee, yaya and kalou are talking as if he's already signed and monk/pellegrini have been talking about it openly. £25m + £3m addons (If we win the prem or champs league while he's here) £100k a week wages.

It's looking good. We're also after this lad called Aguero from Atletico Madrid.

Any news on the Yaya Toure deal PB?
